Onwards and upwards for the denizens of the Litter Tray. Best of luck to all job-hunting, cat-mourning, Paws-swiping posters. I can't do a proper link to the old thread.

New boy cat arrives on Friday, a one-year old tabby boy currently under the moniker of "Bobby". I don't have a proper picture yet.

@Supersimkin2 he will be ok
I mean look at the not cat flu not FIV tooth stuck in nose 4 year stray that Ollie is. Or even Ginge who was completely feral and now is a total love bug
Little one has you as food dispenser, he's going to settle or he won't discover the M&S delights

Grin that's exactly what Ollie would have said himself:)

not to mention Paws :) he's not gong anywhere....

Oh Lana, handhold here. Like Queen says, he will be ok. But it’s horrible to see them poorly.
Socks is definitely in season. Persistent meowing, throwing herself at poor Matt, restless, off her food, trying to get out, humping her kickeroo.
Poor lad has done his best. He’s mounted her and gripped her by the back of the neck a couple of times but obviously can’t follow through to the frustration of them both!
She still doesn’t seem to be urinating properly either so we will try the medication disguised in tinned salmon today.

Is he seeing the vet today L? He sounds a very unwell little soul.

Supersimkin2 · 27/11/2019 11:35

He is MILES better. TCN consulted, meds on way. Crap back to normal, hassled me for a second Gourmet tin in dead of night. Diagnosis: head cold; surfeit of dreamies.

Socks is randy as hell. Can you get her done? Is the inflamed dingdong a wanking injury...

You will never forget the sounds she makes while she is in season Paper.

Been a bit ill so not been around.

Cola is a looper!! She eats like a horse and bounds round the place at 100 miles an hour. So afraid of stepping on her

You won't. :)

She sounds super skittish little kittly.

Little K has heard the word 'pill' and gone to ground in the linen chest. I can barely type e-y-e-d-r-o-p. Have sent off for antibiotic ointment from GP, bought gardening gloves and safety goggles; pleased with self for being organised.

Yellow sticker liver and brandy pate at the ready.

It’s unearthly, Fluffy!
Apparently Matt mounted her earlier and promptly fell off, according to dd, 18, who said in horrified tones, “I saw his willy. I thought it had been chopped off!”
The medication laced salmon has been largely ignored.
She’s still only doing spots of wee but she has plenty of...ahem...energy...so I’m guessing she feels ok.
Thank goodness Matt’s gone out and she’s fast asleep at the moment. It’s tiring being a nymphomaniac, you know.

She’ll be booked in ASAP, Lana.
Glad to hear Little K is doing better - and that you’re well prepared!

You're coping admirably with a new frisky teen Paper - rather you than me.Have you screamed 'You can't wear that out' yet? Grin

Matt would be a lovely dad, shame. He might put off the neighbouring lads with any luck.

Someone in our family thought they cut the willy off too. Bit extreme, it’s bad enough the testicles have to go without anything else.

Mr C had massive pompoms even after the op, striped and tabby. He showed them to people he didn't like. Grin

I had a randy teen girl cat and dog (different times). Never again. Although the cat was WAAAY worse than the dog.

Adorable.

Little K has vanished again. No lunch, no tea, no supper, no peeing. Just crawled round with a torch hauling furniture. Not sure I can cope with this long term - there's just too many issues to battle day after day.

Every day brings a new problem.

Oh god. How is he doing it?

Report
Supersimkin2 · 27/11/2019 22:52

I'd like to know. I'm sick of it.

I can't even sit to watch a film peacefully, and I've been so terribly ill. Hauling the sofa with blue lips night after night is no joke.

He's just appeared for a split second thank Christ. But...

Lana, you poor thing, put some food down for him and go to bed. He’ll come out when it’s all gone quiet, eat, use the litter tray and no doubt crawl in with you.

Report
Supersimkin2 · 28/11/2019 10:16

I did just that, thanks. Had to check he hadn't crawled into the washing machine etc - barmy, but I get flappy when I'm weedy.

Sorry to moan, but it's the nights that do you in.

In the night I felt very soft little paws on the duvet. He's growing like anything - you notice more when you don't see them much.

He’s finding his feet (paws). I think cats are preprogrammed to worry us.
We had a disturbed night too with seemingly endless shagathons. Matt is so exhausted by his efforts, in vain though they are, that he is still fast asleep!

Well we have done a bit of moving around in the dining room. The three pusskateers weren’t terribly impressed so found their way into my daughters bedroom. A whole room to spread out in with a bed a couple of chairs and bookcases. So they squash onto one end of the window sill. Idiots.
