Onwards and upwards for the denizens of the Litter Tray. Best of luck to all job-hunting, cat-mourning, Paws-swiping posters. I can't do a proper link to the old thread.

New boy cat arrives on Friday, a one-year old tabby boy currently under the moniker of "Bobby". I don't have a proper picture yet.

That video is so funny ClientQueen. Had never seen the Worcester Bosch advert YesItsMeIDontCare but that is EXACTLY what I believe goes on in millions of homes every day Grin

TheLongRider · 25/02/2020 23:14

Ollie really seems to enjoy Paws company. That playtime is hilarious!

I'm not so sure on the enjoy Grin
I could hear them so looked around the door (was eating tea) and nearly choked on my food laughing. They're like a comedy duo - Ollie smacks paws and paws stalks off, Ollie "where Paws go? I miss him"
Me HmmConfused try not smacking him then!

Using my thigh as a pillow...

No idea what's got into Bertie tonight. My normally calm cat is bombing around the house, chirruping and attacking a hidden enemy.

Walter is sitting atop the sofa, looking down on him in disdain.

Who knows.

coastergirl · 27/02/2020 21:46

Er...excuse me Bertie!

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/02/2020 21:49

My Bertie used to do that. He’d shove his nose in & think yeah I drink that too then walk off.

Never knew what he was expecting to find. At least he grew out of tipping glasses over.

Guiltypleasures001 · 27/02/2020 22:41

Our Betbet only drinks out of a glass on the hearth

coastergirl · 27/02/2020 22:41

Awww @Fluffycloudland77 maybe it's a Bertie thing? How are you getting on now without him? I've been there. It takes time.

My two have stolen my glasses of water before, but never squash!

Supersimkin2 · 27/02/2020 22:49

Our family cat got pissed up once, knocked over DB's bike in the hall, and passed out. Attacked DF when hungover.

Oh the sweetness of Matt and Beery Bertie.

Me and Capn V have had a lovely groom - he let me do his peachy plump fluffy tum.

Didn't like it but he didn't bite or scratch. Nearly in tears - never lived with a non-violent cat. Sniff.

He's on me now, flicky feathery tail and fat pompom orange paws kneading the bed in satisfaction.

Papergirl1968 · 27/02/2020 23:06

Aww, Lana, that’s lovely.

nettie434 · 27/02/2020 23:06

Our family cat got pissed up once

Last Christmas my friends’ cat was lying about looking unusually zonked out and a bit uninterested in what was happening around him. They think he must have found some brandy butter. It’s actually really unusual for him to sneak human food but we couldn’t come up with another explanation.

Clearly destiny for you and Capn V Supersimkin2 💕💕💕

Guiltypleasures001 · 28/02/2020 00:14

That sounds wonderful Lana so pleased for you x

Supersimkin2 · 28/02/2020 09:56

We're still in bed. Netflix-and-dreamies last night.

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/02/2020 10:35

We’re not there yet Coaster.

I’ve never had a non-violent cat either. The worst was a tiny chinchilla Persian who was eternally kitten sized. Feisty as a tiger. Nicknamed the spitfire.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 28/02/2020 10:45

I still think of you, Fluffy and Fluffy's DH Flowers

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/02/2020 10:56

Thank you Spartacus, that means a lot. I feel so silly.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 28/02/2020 11:13

Oh, Fluffy. Please don't feel silly. Our four-legged family members are special and Bertie/Asbo was a very big personality of a cat - a hard space to fill, or, more to the point (because it is not about filling spaces), it is understandably hard to consider welcoming in a new family member when losing an old one is still so raw.

Papergirl1968 · 28/02/2020 11:24

Fluffy Flowers nothing to feel silly about. You will know when the time is right x

Supersimkin2 · 28/02/2020 15:19

Asbo was a legend, of course you still feel it.

I still miss Mr C but I knew that for me, the only way was getting back on the horse quickly. Or rather under the feline.

Capn has just done A MASSIVE SHIT. No idea where.

nettie434 · 28/02/2020 23:43

I still think of you, Fluffy and Fluffy's DH

I do too - especially when you offer comfort and advice to other posters.

ClientQueen · 29/02/2020 00:14

Paws came in earlier. He's just jumped up and head butted the window which is his new "hungry. I come in now" thing
Slightly concerned I told him "it's very late darling, I don't think you should be out" BlushBlush
Ollie giving him side eye from the comfort of his igloo

Supersimkin2 · 29/02/2020 00:15

You know what to do.

ClientQueen · 29/02/2020 00:20

He's perched on the fridge. Filthy legs and paws, god knows where he's been

Supersimkin2 · 29/02/2020 00:29

He looks v happy, he loves the fridge. Don't we all.

I'd leave him there and hit the sack if I were you.

desperately angling to get Paws to stay the night

Capn V is upon me. Time for kip.
