New boy cat arrives on Friday, a one-year old tabby boy currently under the moniker of "Bobby". I don't have a proper picture yet.

Oh! Look at him! I love my boys but I have a touch of ginger-envy. So fluffy!

The mane and whiskers are VERY impressive. That stare would do Paddington Bear proud too.

He is very longhaired indeed. Sunday delivery of 3 furminators just arrived. Might have a little rest first.

He's settled so well! About the same speed that Leroy did. It came as a bit of a shock 'cause I was expecting some hiding but no. Food was offered and that was it 😁. Same experience with Captain Super?

The first night, food was gently slipped under the sofa and vanished. By the next day, after I had been to the chip shop (crafty), we were both hoovering hake in broad daylight.

Matt marched in to our house as a 12 week old kitten and was “right, let’s look around and see if the accommodation is suitable, none of this keeping me to one room business. That’s for namby pambies.”
Socks on the other hand...six months in and she still flees upstairs when one of us comes in, and has an attack of the vapours if someone knocks the front door. I seriously think Matt has been winding her up by telling her that all our friends and relatives are evil creatures who like to eat kittens for breakfast...
