New boy cat arrives on Friday, a one-year old tabby boy currently under the moniker of "Bobby". I don't have a proper picture yet.

Oh my, he is magnificent!

Just had a little brush and second lunch. Storm Dennis has kicked off here - was a lovely mild morning, wild violets wafting in the park, now it's black skies, police sirens and that rains that slaps you round the face. And gets in your pants.

Might stay in for a cuddle. Am covered in peachy fur - not brushing it off.

Oh my he is GORGEOUS! Handsome, floofy, beautiful apricot colour, big, cuddly, likes being fussed & groomed. I adore my cautious sleek black babies, but I will admit to a tiny twinge of jealousy!

He's barely 5.5 kilos and a lot of that is fur.

Where the hell can I buy a giant litter tray?

I use an under bed shallow box, one of the storage ones. They're big

Pets at Home do a pretty enormous one, as long as you're happy with a simple tray with a removable lip. It's what my panthers use, and have plenty of space to turn round, dig up one side of the litter, turn again & dig the other side, repeat ad nauseum. All 4 little feetsies in the tray & still plenty of room to crap without hitting the edge.

I can't remember if I got the large or the jumbo, link to the jumbo sized one here - it's still only a tenner

Charlie has the XXL one from pets at home, but his breeder also used a shallow storage box. Currently trying to chew my toes
