New boy cat arrives on Friday, a one-year old tabby boy currently under the moniker of "Bobby". I don't have a proper picture yet.

Girlcat uses Boycat as a pillow when they are snuggled up together, VERY cute

She tried to bite him just after I’d taken that pic! Then thought better of it.
He was fast asleep but kept kicking her with that back leg. 🤷🏼‍♀️
I have a paw shaped bruise on my stomach from where he has stood on me.

Little K is gone. TCN says she doesn't think the re-taming will work. He has gone to live with her and his brother. He will have cat friends, a garden and his family.

He will be the most beautiful, fierce, golden-eyed tom one day, king of the cats. I hope I have shown him that humans are kind and leak Dreamies.

Well, I am hoping he gets his Dreamies and a nice cosy place to sleep.

Rather a crap week so far - mugged at the cashpoint (am fine, they only got the card) and both dementia parents falling apart faster than I can catch the pieces. DF in hospital at least, where the nurses are complaining about the whining and moaning nearly as much as I feel like doing. It will all get better soon.

Aww, Lana, so glad you weren’t hurt and they didn’t get any money, but I imagine you were very shaken.
DM has dementia. It’s horrible. Can’t imagine what it’s like having both parents with it.
Please be kind to yourself and nurture yourself for a few days, as much as you can with hospital visiting etc x

I could post you Wednesday if you like? She tries very hard to trip you up on the stairs and has the occasional shitty arse but she does let you clean her up without shredding your arms and she likes sleeping on a hooman chest overnight 💕

@Supersimkin2 I'm so sorry to hear about your week. It never rains but it pours.

Thank you all so much. Woke up early and had dreamies and tinkly feather out before I realised he was gone.

He has gone to a home with his family and the outdoors. That's what matters.

TCN - he likes 2 dreamies before a meal, then a few afterwards as a little treat. Then he patrols the premises, inspects and tests the toys and has his nap. At this point you are free to carry on with your day. :)

There is another cat somewhere just waiting to find you (and the dreamies)

Hugs Lana. I've done the dementia thing and am in the thick of it again, so I can really empathise. I am so sorry that you were mugged again too. Sometimes life is just a shower of shit. I think there is another kitty-cat out there with your name on (so to speak) - I don't think the Dreamies will even get stale.

I'm wondering how TCN will deal with the yellow sticker addiction though!

Love the quote towards the end - there’s a crazy cat lady on every street.
I opened the door to a dark grey cat last night. Same build as Matt, same greeting noise as Matt, different colour to Matt. Who was this intruder who strolled in like he owned the place?
Turned out it WAS Matt, just a very dirty Matt. Next door but one have had a new drive and little sod must have rolled on it.
I have rubbed him with a towel and he’s cleaner now, although his white paws are still grey

When I got Mr C i thought I'd got a black cat. Turns out he was just a soap-dodger.

I miss Little K horribly. Can't stop bawling. Keep thinking of him as a massive tom cat frolicking in a field with his brother, tho'.
