New boy cat arrives on Friday, a one-year old tabby boy currently under the moniker of "Bobby". I don't have a proper picture yet.

Hugs Lana. I'm sad for you and Mr K., but I think he will be happy on a farm as you say. Hopefully a kitten that is a better fit for both of you will come your way soon. All the best with the family mess too.

So glad Socks came back. Mine have both done that a few times. So scary.

All is not lost. Talked to TCN at length; we're doing a taming bootcamp, starting Monday. Little K - now the size of a football - will be reinserted into the hospital basket for 3 weeks as a last ditch attempt to domesticate.

Lana when I first got Snow she was as feral as they get. Not that the RSPCA had bothered to tell me that. 3 years later and she's the most affectionate loving little cat. There's hope for Mr K yet

Good luck Lana and Mr K ... but also remember that it's fine to say 'no' Lana and to look after yourself. Think of Fred and Ginge, happy kitties with a world free to roam in.

@ClientListQueen - new arrival in the M&S deli aisle - pork crackling sticks. Inspired by Ollie, I thought I'd give them a whirl last night as missed supper.

This is what my feral cat thought:

1. Having been too scared to come anywhere near me, shot out from behind the fridge and sat on the bed where I was crunching away with purry noises.
2. Chased the empty packet all night loudly and pointedly.
3. New packet purchased. We are now both eating our own stick for breakfast.
