New boy cat arrives on Friday, a one-year old tabby boy currently under the moniker of "Bobby". I don't have a proper picture yet.

Daughter's new cat (henceforth DDCat - or should that be DDDCat?) has emerged from hiding and is beginning the process of taking over the house.

Socks has started to use her very long, very thin paws to help herself to food off my plate. Even if it’s a bit of burnt chip, she plays with it before eating it. Even permanently starving Matt rarely steals from plates, at least not while they’re being eaten off.
Yesterday she hoovered up the crumbs from my red velvet cake which was actually a month out if faye but tasted fine
I do feed her, honestly!

Cakes keep for ages, that's why they were invented in the Olden Days before shops and thievy kittens were allowed in the house not just the barn. :)

A cold war has broken out in the Allergic household. 75-80% of the time things are normal, but Girlcat has decided that maybe Boycat was on to A Good Thing with cuddles, and is now demanding to be picked up & cuddled on a regular basis. Both want to take priority on cuddles at the same time, so if I'm cuddling Boycat I have evil daggers coming my way from Girlcat, and if it's HER turn then I get the most pathetic big sad eyes staring at me - I almost expect to see tears running down his face.

Both will try to distract whichever one is getting the attention & get them to play chase, then come sneaking back to take their turn

YesItsMe um, kind of! 5 Savannah's, a Siamese, 2 chocolate Suffolk's and 4 moggies. Hard work but all worth it
