New boy cat arrives on Friday, a one-year old tabby boy currently under the moniker of "Bobby". I don't have a proper picture yet.

Well I know cats are pretty much psychic, they generally know when you're thinking about opening the fridge for example, but Leroy surpassed himself yesterday.

We live on a very busy road and between the houses and the road is a big grass bank. Leroy loves to sit on the bank 'cause there's mice and birds there. Yesterday he wouldn't. Just wouldn't. He insisted on going on our evening route.

Then I heard the bang. And a few minutes later the sirens. Someone had mounted the bank at speed and come to rest about 10' from our spot.

I can highly recommend (on FB) happy kitty blankets. They're like a tough fabric scented with herbs (catnip, valerian etc) and Ollie is loving his. £6 bargain

Cat logic - the whole house is wooden floored or tiled with the exception of momma’s bedroom and hall, stairs and landing. So twice in one week, where do you choose to throw up? That’s right - on the bloody carpet! And on momma’s handbag! 😺

A fat feral paw slaps the soles of my feet to encourage movement, followed by the gentlest of toe bites if I mention the kitchen doesn't open till 7am.

I still think that Mr K. has the soul of Mr C.
