Onwards and upwards for the denizens of the Litter Tray. Best of luck to all job-hunting, cat-mourning, Paws-swiping posters. I can't do a proper link to the old thread.

New boy cat arrives on Friday, a one-year old tabby boy currently under the moniker of "Bobby". I don't have a proper picture yet.

I was looking at that pic of Ollie trying to work out if it was two front legs. Finally realised it’s one leg and a tail.

ClientListQueen · 20/12/2019 22:48

He likes to sit like that to rip his fur out ConfusedHmm

Supersimkin2 · 21/12/2019 10:04

Much as I love you all, attempts at a Xmas Santa hat portrait of Little K will result in psychiatric A&E. That doesn't stop anyone else, of course Grin

Little K is HUGE. Rope-like thick fluffy tail - still a bit stumpy cos' kitten. Paws like plates. Little wobbly kitten legs. Bespoke camo patches in the snow-white fur.

For the first time ever he attacked my feet in the night without his santa claws Grin

Justonedayatatime11 · 21/12/2019 11:20

Lana please tell me you're keeping him?

swampytiggaa · 21/12/2019 16:17

Hmmm. Put a small tree up this afternoon. Have found baubles in the litter tray and the tree on its side on the other side of the room.

Papergirl1968 · 21/12/2019 17:56

Have you seen that meme of a startled looking dog saying “thank goodness you’re home, the Christmas tree just fainted!” Something similar could possible have happened in your house, Swampy. Xmas Smile

swampytiggaa · 21/12/2019 18:48

More like this I think 🤔

Swampy Grin

Little K has vanished and we're on yellow sticker M&S chicken breast to lure him out. As it happens I suspect he is kipping off a huge breakfast.

Papergirl1968 · 21/12/2019 20:35

Love it! Xmas Grin

Supersimkin2 · 21/12/2019 22:05

Just of course I want to keep Little K. If I can - basically, if I can pick him up. The flats here have burst into flames 14 times and quick getaways with items of value (cat, key) are of the essence.

Mr C had his own fireman once Grin

Unless the Littlest and Loveliest socialises well enough to be handled he'd be better off somewhere else. No urgency - we're having Xmas with him stealing turkey and pissing on the duvet, he likes it.

ClientListQueen · 21/12/2019 22:26

I am out. Jäger bombs are involved

TheLongRider · 21/12/2019 22:53

I hope it's a great night out. I also hope that Ollie respects your hangover in the morning! Xmas Grin

Don't do anything Olli and Paws wouldn't do :)

ClientListQueen · 22/12/2019 00:45

Eating battered sausage, chips and scraps. Ollie judging me as i fell over him

TheLongRider · 22/12/2019 00:59

Food of the Gods. Save Ollie and Paws the ends of the sausages.

Ollie is too busy glaring

Supersimkin2 · 22/12/2019 11:23

Are we up with the lark this morning? Feelin' fresh for 3 rounds of Da Bird?

ClientListQueen · 22/12/2019 11:38

Most definitely not. Ollie woke me at 5am

YetAnotherSpartacus · 22/12/2019 11:48

He was worried about you, poor petal.

Allergictoironing · 23/12/2019 13:04

Boycat is in heaven today, he just got his Christmas wish.

Which unfortunately for me, consisted of having me at home all day every day for the foreseeable future - my entire team was made redundant this morning.

Papergirl1968 · 23/12/2019 13:07

Oh no Allergic, I’m so sorry, what awful timing. Flowers

Allergictoironing · 23/12/2019 13:18

We've been expecting it since the election results came out, and even more likely since the Brexit bill was passed, as it was a supply chain role where the team was put together specifically to deal with import issues from Brexit.

Of course with the bill passed last week but no changes until the end of next year, there's very little chance of there being supply chain issues in the near future. Can't really have the NHS paying for a team of staff sitting around doing nothing for another 12 months!

They've been very good though, we all went home after the news and don't need to go back, and will get paid until 31/12, plus those who had leave allowance left or booked for that period are being paid for it.

Papergirl1968 · 23/12/2019 13:41

I’ve been made redundant a couple of times and it’s worked out for the best, with something better coming up, so crossing my fingers for you.

Supersimkin2 · 23/12/2019 19:01

Flowers Seconding everyone who says redundancy always has a silver lining.
