Onwards and upwards for the denizens of the Litter Tray. Best of luck to all job-hunting, cat-mourning, Paws-swiping posters. I can't do a proper link to the old thread.

New boy cat arrives on Friday, a one-year old tabby boy currently under the moniker of "Bobby". I don't have a proper picture yet.

Paws has really filled out now. He was a skinny wandering waif when he turned up earlier in the year.

It’s a wonderful feeling when you gain the trust of a nervous cat.
Socks has been totally different to Matt and still hides if something scares her but she loves cuddling on my chest now, paws tucked up under my chin.
Paws and Little K and so many other kitties are gaining in confidence and getting a bit more relaxed every day.

Little K is certainly feeling stronger. He's pissed on the bed.

Meh, only kitten pee. Got me up at dawn for feather. Still not allowed a cuddle, it's torture, that furry white bundle of adorability just a few inches away. My time will come [evil grin]

Paws looks a million times healthier and positively radiates happiness. Little Socks is clearly thriving and full of beans.

I thought I heard Matt throwing up and got up to find what looked like poo on the landing carpet. Didn’t smell though so fairly confident he’d just been sick.
He is currently stretched out on the radiator/back of the sofa, with Socks cuddled up to him.

Child number three is 16 today 💕 the idiot kittens have marked the occasion with a very stinky poo each. One after the other so three trips out to the bin Envy

Gomez has knocked one of daddy’s dumbbells off the shelf it was on. We now have a broken dumbbell a chunk out of the floor and a cat sitting in the tumble dryer pretending it’s nothing to do with her 😂😂😂

I tried to touch Little K last night - he's always refused contact but for the first time in two months he came within a foot of me.

Not a good result.

He's hidden again.

I'm going to talk to a vet later and see what the options are - I've got a horrible feeling he's too old to be socialised.

Lana remember mine were a whole year old when their colony was trapped, then another year in the rescue before I got my arse into gear to visit so they could claim me. It took MONTHS before I could touch either one of them.

They are currently sitting behind me waiting for their "Mama is home from work" cuddles - Boycat on the bed, and Girlcat on my end of the sofa. I was nearly tripped up coming back in the house this evening as there was a sinuous mass of cats swarming around my feet as I came through the door.

So have patience - you are so much further on than I was after this short amount of time Smile

My cat took about6 months to trust me and now he is devoted to me. Just give him time, it has to be on his terms
