Following from what I've just seen on the previous thread, obviously I don't know the history but I'm so so sorry to read about Mr C. Poor you and poor him. It's awful. I had to have my lovely nine year old bunny Harry put to sleep last month. It was the hardest decision, but it really was time.

Sending so much love from me and my boys (both human and furry)

YetAnotherSpartacus · 16/09/2019 14:14

Checking in and offering extended handhold to the lovely Lana and splendiferous Mr C.

Justonedayatatime11 · 16/09/2019 14:19

Checking in. Hope you're ok Lana

DCat · 16/09/2019 15:11

Checking in as well ❤️

Thanks all, we are fine at the moment. Mr C snoring loudly, me watching Animal Babies to cheer self up. No one here has moved all day.

YesQueen · 16/09/2019 19:23

Firework drama again. Some kids have been running riot with them and chucked one in the local shop and one in the nursing home Sad
It's been going on for three nights now and police are tied up run ragged looking for them
I wouldn't have done it as a kid because I would have been petrified of my parents. They're not Angry
Me and Ollie are tucked up, windows firmly shut while I am terrified and he snores

Little bastards aren’t they? One day they’ll ban the sale of them to the public.

Has he eaten much today Super?

Supersimkin · 16/09/2019 19:31

One slice of butter-basted chicken breast.

Allergictoironing · 16/09/2019 19:37

I came home late from work and have been dreading reading this thread (and the tail end of the previous one ofc), but it looks like you've not hit THAT moment quite yet. Poor Mr C, and poor Lana.

Week of non-stop cuddles I think, with maybe a visit by Nurse Lee to cheer you both up.

DCat · 16/09/2019 19:58

Mr C - many soft hughs to you, sweet darling...

Supersimkin · 16/09/2019 20:10

Means such a lot thanks so much :)

Papergirl1968 · 16/09/2019 21:35

Been staring at the other thread and wondering why it hadn’t been updated -doh!
Thinking of you and Mr C, Lana x

TheLongRider · 16/09/2019 21:55

Super, you'll know what to do for the best for both of you. Flowers

Fluffycloudland77 · 16/09/2019 22:02

Sample conversation from tonight.

“Arghhh, stop biting me it’s naughty”
Dh “STOP BITING MOMMY”
“Don’t yell at him, he’s only little”
Dh 🙄

Supersimkin · 16/09/2019 22:03

Thanks so much. I know - courage and love are what are in order right now for whatever happens :) And that we get from you all, so thanks so much.

Yes - fireworks?! Surely not already? We're still in sundresses down South. Well, evidently so, poor you; I hope the police nick those feral brats. The longer they take to catch them, the longer the little sods have to scare themselves silly blowing each other up. Silver lining, I say.

Supersimkin · 16/09/2019 22:05

F - Enabler. [grin[

YesQueen · 16/09/2019 22:08

@Supersimkin they're that dim, they're setting them off at 7pm in daylight Hmm
The police seem to be on a mission now given they've thrown one into a nursing home and now started on people's cars too. Ollie is disappointed it wasn't dark so he couldn't "watch DA bang bangs"
He's recovering from getting his front claws hooked together earlier, toppling over, wailing for help and being rescued by me while I laughed a lot

If Bert doesn't come home soon he'll be grounded...when he turns up of course. I'm a worrier after losing one to the road last year, then Walt being hit a few weeks later. Thank goodness for pet insurance.

I'm going to go and trawl through the previous thread for a photo of Mr C. I feel like I need to see him to understand!

Supersimkin · 17/09/2019 10:04

Has Bert rolled up yet? He was out looking for women, fighting and fun Grin

Papergirl1968 · 17/09/2019 10:13

How’s Mr C, Lana? X

YetAnotherSpartacus · 17/09/2019 12:37

I hope that Mr C is doing well and that they catch those little shits with the fireworks!

Supersimkin · 17/09/2019 17:36

Mr C is still off his oats and the vet is going to assess him in person. Long convo this am. However, the little kit is asleep and doesn't seem too bad today.

How is lush Matt?

DCat · 17/09/2019 20:23

Thanks for some good news Smile

My beautiful and caring dog died two years ago, my old cat lady died last year. I now have a crazy cat teenager but I miss my old friends so so much.

Papergirl1968 · 17/09/2019 20:36

I’m glad he seems a little better, Lana. Thinking of you lots and sending hugs ((()))
Matt is fine, thank you. Socks too. Still biting her but she skips off then runs back to him 🤷🏼‍♀️
They curled up together for a nap this afternoon so I’m guessing feline relations aren’t too bad.
