Oliver is a gentleman of tender and natural affection, little scallywag that he is.

His ease and generosity in offering you a home, with staff, is to be commended.

Not every workhouse pet is so lucky.

Remember our mantra, boys: PLEASE I WANT SOME MORE

Use it well! With greetings and a nosebop, Mr C

YetAnotherSpartacus · 13/09/2019 10:36

Should that be 'Hey Slave - Give Me Some More Or else?'

Weezol · 13/09/2019 14:12

'I know you left them neatly folded in case you came back to bed for a nap, but I thought you'd appreciate them warming. Honest.'

Look at those innocent eyes Grin

TheLongRider · 13/09/2019 15:52

Has Paws officially moved in, or are you just a cat Airbnb?

Ollie seems to have top mog status and has healthy boundaries regarding you and his possessions that Paws does not contest.

It seems like a good partnership.

TheLongRider · 13/09/2019 15:52

Is Paws male or female? I can't tell from.the photos

YesQueen · 13/09/2019 16:23

@TheLongRider I am simply a cat food drive through Grin
I haven't established male or female yet....

Supersimkin · 13/09/2019 18:46

Aww, Ollie!
I jumped the gun a bit in saying how well feline relations were going in our house.
The past couple of days Matt has started biting Socks. Really not sure what’s going on. When he comes in from outside she runs up to him and waggles her backside at him (my elderly mom describes her as a fast little madam), and he obligingly sniffs and licks her tail.
She was just lying quietly on a cushion and he came up and started to wash her back. She tried to wriggle away and he put a paw firmly on her told her still while he carried on. Then someone hissed, not sure who, and they both scarpered.
That was ten minutes ago and I’ve just caught him on top of her biting her neck.
Some of it is play which goes a bit far, I think, and some of it is him asserting his dominance over her. She does tease him too and thinks his tail is the best toy ever, and sometimes they play lovely chasing games, but I don’t want him to hurt her!

Isn't that a mating thing? Some dim, distant primordial urge in response to a wiggling bum?

😱😱😱

Socks needs neutering ASAP!

Papergirl1968 · 14/09/2019 13:25

He’s neutered so nothing can happen and she’s being done in about three weeks. You think things might calm down then?

Fluffycloudland77 · 14/09/2019 14:13

Our retired queen used to get monumentally pissed off with neutered Tom biting but not following through. Poor cat didn’t know what came next Wink

Papergirl1968 · 14/09/2019 14:21

Biting is a sort of foreplay in cats, isn’t it?

Fluffycloudland77 · 14/09/2019 14:22

Yes.

Supersimkin · 14/09/2019 18:27

Matt is shagging her, at least as much as he can. So will everyone else be if you don't get her done quickish. I'd put that appt forward.

Papergirl1968 · 14/09/2019 19:18

Goodness. But she’s a baby!
She’s not allowed out at the moment, and, being a skittish little thing, shows no interest in it, thank goodness.

Weezol · 14/09/2019 20:04

Cats can become pregnant as early as four months old!

Supersimkin · 14/09/2019 20:11

Mr C was a dad barely out of the cradle - there's a housing estate in Battersea where generations of tabbies boast his trademark beauty spot.

I cringe every time we pass it on the bus. Let not the same fate befall you and Matt.

Fluffycloudland77 · 14/09/2019 20:31

Are we saying Matts been grooming Socks?.

Supersimkin · 14/09/2019 22:31

I don't think Matt's that interested, he can't anyway. Best Litter Tray pun ever though Grin

Papergirl1968 · 14/09/2019 22:39

I hate to victim blame, fluffy, but I think it’s a case of her leading him on. She’s a feline Lolita, waggling her pert young bottom at him and making big eyes. Wanton little hussy that she is.
As for Mr C, I’m truly shocked 🙀

Papergirl1968 · 14/09/2019 22:41

Oh yeah, grooming Grin - bit slow on the uptake tonight!

Supersimkin · 14/09/2019 22:54

Mr C has shown no interest in the ladeez since he was done. The procedure did awaken his gourmet tendencies, however.
