Unless you're Weezolcat. In which case it can be anticipatory or predatory. Or utterly random.
This is cat that does arched back, bottle brush tail and 1000db purr all at the same time.

Papergirl1968 · 09/09/2019 09:14

Socks has taken to using Matt’s large hooded litter tray.
I just found Matt using Socks’ little litter tray - enormous bottom taking up most of it so he had to keep his front paws on the floor. He only uses the litter tray occasionally in the middle of the night and could only squeeze out a drop so I suspect it’s a territorial thing rather than actually needing to go...Confused
They then raced about like a herd of elephants!

I knew one like that. Head would be going bump, bump, and PURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR and tail would be going 'lashy lashy'. I never knew whether to listen to the head or the tail.

Ggggg

coastergirl · 09/09/2019 11:25

No idea how that happened, sorry! Baby in arms and cats on my feet results in accidentally typing nonsense 🙈

YetAnotherSpartacus · 09/09/2019 11:30

I assumed that one of the kitties was strangling you. Thanks for the update. I was worried that they'd dragged you out through the cat flap and were conspiring to dig up your patio ...

coastergirl · 09/09/2019 11:33

@Fluffycloudland77 they like his fluffy blankets and both try to knead the blankets while baby is wrapped in them! As for baby himself, they don't really seem to have noticed much. At least they don't seem particularly unsettled by him. Sorry for the multiple posts!

Supersimkin · 09/09/2019 12:23

Coast Grin

Weezol · 09/09/2019 15:14

YetAnotherSpartacus was said cat a Tortie?
I ask because a friend, upon seeing Weezolcat for the first time paled visibly and said 'Oh God, you've got one of them cats!' He's quite a big chap so it was a bit disconcerting to hear his voice go all wobbly.

YesQueen · 09/09/2019 15:51

We have to be at the vet tomorrow early. So no breakfast as he will throw up over me. This is going to go down well....

Supersimkin · 09/09/2019 21:19

Same here Grin Flowers we're already in pjs and triple espresso prepped for the morning lurch.

Half a sausage is quite hard to sick up.

YesQueen · 09/09/2019 21:30

He's in a weird mood. I offered new wet food. Nope. Pawed at the cupboard. Demanded new dry food ConfusedHmm which is "delicious"
He might get some chicken before the vet

Papergirl1968 · 09/09/2019 21:37

He Knows, Queen.

YesQueen · 09/09/2019 21:44

He does. The Sainsbury's man just delivered and he shot out the door "bye bye mama, back next week" Grin

thecatneuterer · 10/09/2019 12:11

bumping to knock all the cat pee threads off the front page.

thecatneuterer · 10/09/2019 12:25

bump again

Weezol · 10/09/2019 13:07

Was Ollie a Very Good Boy for the v.e.t?

YesQueen · 10/09/2019 13:37

No vet today, he escaped due to my hospital appointment time being changed. So we are there tomorrow now
He is tucking into his new applaws dry food with gusto

Papergirl1968 · 10/09/2019 15:13

Oh blimey, how cute?

My ball of furry fury is currently being grouchy about something I have/haven't done so we're having some Quiet Time in seperate rooms.

I can hear the crap being kicked out of something but I'm too Crohn’s to care just now.

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/09/2019 16:12

Is socks a girl?.

Papergirl1968 · 10/09/2019 17:25

Yes, she’s a girl. She is lovely. Long and thin, especially her legs and her tail.
She and Matt chase each other round and it sounds like a herd of elephant upstairs. Last night Socks raced past me at 100mph with Matt in hot pursuit. She hates it when he goes out and runs to greet him when he comes back. They eat together and then curl up to sleep together 😻
Spotted that you were a Break in the Sun fan in another thread, Weezol. I get unaccountably excited when I see one of my litter tray mates on another thread, like a kid bumping into a schoolfriend while out shopping!

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/09/2019 17:58

She’s got big paws, I wonder if you’ll end up with two large cats.

Supersimkin · 10/09/2019 20:57

Got stood up by the vet Grin

I am battling a problem pet odour,. I don't know what those pills are doing to Mr C's guts but it's at the stage where I have to warn guests. 2 cans of neutradol haven't touched the sides. Tipz anyone?

The worst thing is that he is more embarrassed - really, he tries to bury it as hard as possible with his little old paws. Blames toxic gas on me.

Weezol · 10/09/2019 21:00

Me too! I'm not particularly sociable irl, but when I saw you talking about Kizzy I felt like I was in with the cool* kids. The Litter Tray is definitely a magnet for folk what are right in their ways.

*cool for me meaning a geeky, history nerd metaller and proud of it.
