Come one, come all to the Olli et al. appreciation thread.

Mr C has started wheezing again. Give me strength.

On the upside, might see Nurse Lee tomorrow. Not in my skimpy lace nightie, Spart (good plan tho Grin).

Paw hold for you from over here. I hope he recovers soon.

The potatoes are delicious. Slathered in butter... My diet will go to pot

Supersimpkin · 29/06/2019 08:26

How the cuddly King this morning? Hope you both had a good kip.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 29/06/2019 08:38

All the best to darling Ollie. Poor boy. That’s all really worrying :(

YesQueen · 29/06/2019 08:42

I woke up every hour to check him Blush and he slept on my pillow so he must have felt poorly. Ate a little this morning but not himself at all still, I've had to go to work so am v stressed

Supersimpkin · 29/06/2019 10:42

He could use a day's solid rest. That's what he'll doing, flat out under the bed.

Try not to worry, he's on the mend. You must be feeling exhausted, take it easy and do as little as possible. Have a proper lunch break if you can and eat lots.

YesQueen · 29/06/2019 14:51

He was asleep on the bed when I came in. Has tottered outside and back in and now back on his carrier bag under the bed
Seems v lethargic/weak and walking v slow but it's horrendously hot and muggy here

Fluffycloudland77 · 29/06/2019 15:30

It won’t help. Has he eaten?

Supersimpkin · 29/06/2019 17:57

No one's at normal speed today. Got an inch of water out of the dehumidifier this afternoon alone. Mr C dumped himself in front of fan, not moving.

YesQueen · 29/06/2019 20:09

@Fluffycloudland77 nope. He pottered to his bowl and had a look but he hasn't eaten

It’s a good job he chunked up recently isn’t it. He’ll wake you at 2am for food.

YesQueen · 29/06/2019 21:46

@RonniePasas yep, he had been inside all day and fine so definitely not bitten
@Fluffycloudland77 he's actually lost weight ConfusedConfused
Tucked up on my knee

Supersimpkin · 29/06/2019 22:19

I know for most sensible women and cats missing a meal feels like a medical emergency, but something tells me he'll be a bit more peckish tomorrow.

Not eating for 2 or 3 days is ok as long as he's drinking.

YesQueen · 29/06/2019 22:34

@Supersimpkin hopefully. I may also need some menopausal rage for the man SadAngrySadAngry
He had his second chance. I don't do third chances

TheLongRider · 29/06/2019 22:55

Oh FFS re man! A git is a git and you're probably well rid.

Papergirl1968 · 29/06/2019 23:02

Who needs a man when they’ve got a cat?
Keeping our fingers and paws crossed that Ollie will be better tomorrow.
Matt is being a pain as he’s just come in, had his supper and is pestering to go out again. As it was 12.45am when he rolled in last night, or rather this morning, he is not going. He’s not happy and is letting me know it!

Supersimpkin · 30/06/2019 09:26

Deranged, spitting Greek-play style old crone rage coming at the loser right NOW Angry.

You poor babe. Flowers. Sounds like you're well rid, to be honest. No you do not do third chances. We Ladies of the Litter have standards.

There's someone really nice out there, believe me. There'll be a queue round the block shortly.

Supersimpkin · 30/06/2019 09:31

A bloke came up to me - about 30, faint-makingly fit - in Tesco when I was considering the catfood and asked me out on Friday. He said 'Did I like toyboys?'

Look, even if you are 51, covered in cat fur and browsing the spinster aisle, you get opportunities.

Obviously I was thinking too hard about Mr C's luxury menu options to accept. But I might next time.

YesQueen · 30/06/2019 11:07

I have sent him an exceedingly shitty message and then blocked him so he can't reply Halo
Ollie is up and demanding food

Guiltypleasures001 · 30/06/2019 11:12

Was genuinely worried for Ollie so glad he's a bit brighter this morning

YesItsMeIDontCare · 30/06/2019 15:59

Leroy sends Ollie a "get well soon" nose boop •

Supersimpkin · 30/06/2019 17:45

That is really cheering news x2.

Mr C on for Sunday Cozie Hour ie movie-and-a-lie-down.

Fluffycloudland77 · 30/06/2019 19:21

Is he letting you medicate him?.

YesQueen · 30/06/2019 19:24

He has eaten a full pouch Smile no meds to give luckily as he had such a massive dose at the vets and a long lasting antibiotic. I had a nap and he woke me up purring and smacking me around the face
