Come one, come all to the Olli et al. appreciation thread.

Mr C has started wheezing again. Give me strength.

On the upside, might see Nurse Lee tomorrow. Not in my skimpy lace nightie, Spart (good plan tho Grin).

Amazeballs, you geniuses.

I must do it at once.

YesQueen · 14/06/2019 22:35

Limpy NMC is back on three legs. I shouted it and got this as well

Three is a lovely number. How is Olli feeling about NMC

YesQueen · 14/06/2019 23:01

"It might steal my FOOD" is his opinion
I'm in contact with the cat scanner and we are formulating a plan. NMC can't weightbear at all on his back leg

Papergirl1968 · 14/06/2019 23:44

Oh no, poor limpy NMC 😿

Supersimpkin · 14/06/2019 23:45

Poor little cat. RSPCA?

Sleep well, ladeez - me and Mr C are turning in.

YesQueen · 15/06/2019 10:17

Ok so cats protection after I sent a video are v concerned the leg is broken so all treatment is covered. Now we wait for NMC to appear...

Supersimpkin · 15/06/2019 16:51

You are brilliant. It sounds bust to me.

Mr C has refused his pill in:

  1. Prawn cocktail
  2. Mince
  3. Tuna in olive oil
  4. Freshly grown cat grass
  5. Cod Mornay
  6. Cheddar
  7. Halloumi.

I just don't know what else M&S sells.

Allergictoironing · 15/06/2019 18:27

I know this is a radical idea, as it's cat food (shudder) not human food so unlikely to be good enough for your Lord and Master, but how does he get on with Lik e Lix?

Fluffycloudland77 · 15/06/2019 18:28

Was the olive oil extra virgin though? Have you tried primula? Or sandwich paste?.

Sandwich paste makes my mother wince at the memory of childhood weddings. Salmon was for funerals only.

Supersimpkin · 15/06/2019 19:25

I've just come back from Aldi with their bargain cat sticks.

We shall see.

Allergic Lik-e-lix makes me Vom-e-Vom - I just can't, esp when Fatso here is being fussy and might not eat it.

Fluffy too right salmon is only for funerals. Asbo knows this and lives in firm expectation. DH lives in touching innocence.

I love tinned salmon with vinegar, proper English food. Granny's favourite and mine, funnily enough.

New variation on the fleas game here
I ask if he's got a stinky bum and he shrieks and runs off Confused

Does Olli like being groomed? Mr C lerves his furminator.

Aldi cat sticks, about 3p each, work better than M&S tuna on Mr C. That alone is a reason to call the vet - 'the pet gastronome is unwell'.

YesQueen · 16/06/2019 12:58

@Supersimpkin like it? He would have me brush him ALL DAY

I got my scratch lounger, a touch larger, from made.com Grin It's orange, felt and seats 3 humans apparently.

I love yours more.

YesQueen · 19/06/2019 12:38

Someone is looking chunky... Hmm

TheLongRider · 19/06/2019 14:49

His coat looks great, not shabby any more. He'd make a lovely pair of expensive mittens!

YesQueen · 19/06/2019 15:33

Two tins, 4 pouches yesterday and some buttered crumpet. Plus a quick nibble on the mans shoelaces Hmm

Weezol · 20/06/2019 13:24

Would it be cheaper to just give Ollie a leg of lamb twice a day?

Supersimpkin · 20/06/2019 13:47

Lush.

When Mr C does the centerfold pose these days, he looks like a worn-out baldy doormat someone's kicked askew. Just love him more Grin

Papergirl1968 · 20/06/2019 18:00

Talking of centrefold poses...Grin

YesQueen · 20/06/2019 18:58

@Weezol I'm contemplating it. Look at the bloody size of him BlushShock

Phwoar, look at those kitty lovelies. Pix have made my day.

I had another surprise op on Tuesday, am more than fine but had to cancel on Nurse Lee. Mr C woke me up this am at 5 using my leg as a ladder to get into bed, whence he bawled so loudly for ham he fell back out of it. Nothing wrong with his appetite.

He's guarding me very officiously at the moment - struts about flat in front of me, lashing me helpfully with tail to speed me up. Scentmarks my head firmly before I venture out.

Supersimpkin · 22/06/2019 10:09

Someone has been groomed, roary purring, me woken up at 7 for seconds. When I weakly tried to do it with the brush on him and my head on the pillow, the head was flicked back upright.

We are both covered in a light fog of tabby fur and currently resting.
