Come one, come all to the Olli et al. appreciation thread.

Mr C has started wheezing again. Give me strength.

On the upside, might see Nurse Lee tomorrow. Not in my skimpy lace nightie, Spart (good plan tho Grin).

Being ignored is better than fighting though (hopeful) Smile

Supersimpkin · 10/06/2019 21:21

Oh, that made my heart ache for cat 2! Cat 1 prob just being sniffy at new inhabitant - just a phase, innit.

Mr C's gone to bed early because of the rain - leaving me to eat the other halloumi, grilled, in blissful peace. Grin

A whole halloumi is quite a lot for one person. Still, I'm giving it my best shot.

YesQueen · 10/06/2019 21:26

Cat 2 seems to be part Bengal judging from the photos. He got his leg stuck under the radiator and just lay there happily until the human rescued him Confused
He keeps creeping up to her and she is "go away peasant cat, back to where you came from"

Supersimpkin · 10/06/2019 22:32

My cousin had a blind Bengal - lived a long and extremely happy life. She was super-mellow unusual, isn't it Asbo and everyone adored her. Brilliant with kids too.

Tee-hee! I'm a strawberry!

Has that crop been, ahem, fertilised by the cat?.

TheLongRider · 11/06/2019 17:48

Maybe in the early weeks when it was bare earth, but not now.

Oh how fruity and fabulous Grin

For the first time in 15 years Mr C asked to go for a walk today.

We made it to next door. And stood outside.

Met neighbour in lift, who proudly tells me he has bought a parrot.

YesQueen · 12/06/2019 17:25

Steroid hunger here

TheLongRider · 12/06/2019 19:37

I love his lone fang.

Papergirl1968 · 13/06/2019 00:10

I just saw ollie’s video on Facebook. Bad boy for swiping at the ham. I gave a running commentary to Matt. “Ohh, Ollie’s getting some ham, lucky Ollie. But he’s just snatched it. And now he’s getting told off by his momma. Naughty Ollie.”
Matt has also had some ham but is continuing to howl and pace about scowling because he’s fed up with the rain.

YesQueen · 13/06/2019 07:33

@Papergirl1968 Grin he's SO hungry, he's never done that before

Papergirl1968 · 13/06/2019 08:04

Couldn’t fill Matt up yesterday either. I think he was stuffing his face because he was bored.

Allergictoironing · 13/06/2019 18:13

Since the rubber washer incident, I've kept an eye on Girlcat's poo. She went to the tray, did a great big poo & wandered off, so I braced myself for the stench that could knock an elephant off his feet (vanishes very quickly, she's very good about burying it) - but nothing! Barely a whiff of smell!

Should i be worried? Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/06/2019 20:44

I’d be pleased! Im doing a whole litter change daily but I don’t over fill the tray.

YesQueen · 13/06/2019 21:16

How long can this hunger go on for!? I put down a tin, he scoffs it and looks at me like "more?"

Supersimpkin · 13/06/2019 22:18

Catsan = delaightfully fragrant home. Not even a whiff.

Mr C is a normal weight now, which is unwelcome news to all. His roid rage and my inadequate nutritional boundaries should fix this soon.

Let's hope Olli will go the same way...

YesQueen · 13/06/2019 23:35

I'm ringing the vet soon if he doesn't stop eating, have you seen the price of this stuff?! BlushGrin apparently a 6kg cat should have two tins a day. He's eating 4-5 and a bowl of dry food plus whatever human food he can steal

Supersimpkin · 14/06/2019 10:00

Worm pill first. Sorry for the indelicacy.

We are no stranger to reduced sandwiches on this board Grin

YesQueen · 14/06/2019 10:49

@Supersimpkin he was wormed at the vets Blush same time as the steroid and flea treatment

Supersimpkin · 14/06/2019 15:18

Thyroid test then?

Keep strong :) it can't last forever :)

YesQueen · 14/06/2019 15:26

I have rung the vet who cheerily said "oh yes, the hunger can last for around a month"

Supersimpkin · 14/06/2019 15:29

Shit.

Fluffycloudland77 · 14/06/2019 15:29

Don’t worry, it’s ascot next week. You’ll make it back.

YesQueen · 14/06/2019 15:51

@Fluffycloudland77 I did have a lovely casino win this week but also some losses. Averaging £15 per day
