Come one, come all to the Olli et al. appreciation thread.

Mr C has started wheezing again. Give me strength.

On the upside, might see Nurse Lee tomorrow. Not in my skimpy lace nightie, Spart (good plan tho ).

He has super soft, superfine fur that collects every bit of twig and leaf in the garden. In complete contrast to every cat I've ever had, he loves having his tummy rubbed.

He also has a super luxury tail.

Also, he is horrified at the THREE not my cats outside who are making scary noises and this who came to visit

No Not My Cats here. The resident deals with them ruthlessly. Poor old Will Feral spent over an hour up a tree before making his escape.

Mr C used to be feral. He survived 5 years on the streets of London before taking up residence in a small boutique hotel he sometimes feels is understaffed, despite 24/7 room service.

The hotel is very respectable, even though a lady masseuse sits in the bar in the evenings.

Will Feral was an enormous, battle scarred, ginger tom.
We also have Drooley Andrews, who belongs to a neighbour. She's very friendly and sits on the village pump, enticing passers by for a quick stroke, but has somewhat over active salivary glands when feeling ecstatic!

Drooley and my boy seem to have reached a compromise on territory. He gets all the gardens, the woods and the playing field. She gets the pump and a small patch of road. All very amicable.

That's most civilised. It is only right your boy has the woods, great bounty hunter as he is. Drooley can water the village to her heart's content.

Mr C woke me up 'a touch unwell' at both ends. The audio was memorable. I'll just throw away the towels. Nurse Lee can have a bank holiday in peace for once, I'll call tomorrow and we can Netflix today.

Poor Mr. C. A pamper day sounds just the thing.
The small estate at the bottom of the village belongs to The Notorious C.A.T. , a giant tabby, sex unknown but presumed male.

All other known village cats appear to be mainly indoor cats, other than the occasional scull under their owners cars.

Skulk, not skull, they aren't dead!

Matt has suddenly turned into a lap cat - and no, I’m definitely not pregnant before anyone suggests it!
He is so long he takes up the entire length of my legs when I’ve got them up on the sofa, and so heavy they go numb. It’s like having a lion on your lap...

In bed with Dr C and a dodgy leg. Emergency surgery this am - completely fine yesterday, lovely walk round iris-filled ponds in park, by evening could no longer stand - called the quack this am and they brilliantly fitted me into day surgery at 10:15. How good is the NHS?

Been sent to bed for a week, yayayayya. Have to go back for the full ward admission etc etc in 48 hrs and more extensive op if this doesn't work. I really, really hope it does work, have no one to care for Mr C. I pointed this out but NHS didn't seem to be as impressed as he and I am.

Oh Lana, so sorry to hear that. Fingers crossed it works. In the meantime make the most of a week in bed with Mr C x
