I'm not sure fluffy , 60% of victim removal occasions here seem to result in victim replacement within 5 minutes.

I was in Matt's bad books for shooing off a robin that he was stalking.
He gave me a disgruntled look for spoiling his fun.
I've seen it again today though, assuming it's the same robin, so clearly it's not very bright or has a death wish.
Luckily Matt is too darned fat to be a good hunter, apart from the time a year ago when he caught three baby mice, one a day for three days running. He still looks hopefully in the bit of the garden where we assume the nest was...
