Zero. It was the bsh last night, no actual fisticuffs though because I sent dh out who shouted for me to come and see the pretty cat.

I ache for a BSH, esp a British Blue. But darling asbo, how could his bank hol be disrupted by these strangers in town? Maybe DH could stand by the gate all night to make sure the intruders don't try again.

I'm not sure about his accent but he's gone back to "I go out an I get wet again and then my hooman towels me down an I go out..."

Mr C: I like them Aldi sticks, I will settle for one of those rather than a pate served on a tray at 4:03 am

Me: Mumbo sleeping, my precious kitten.

We know how that one ended. He's really back to normal.

He's a lovely boy most of the time, but the voices in his head tell him to kill...

My pelvis seems to be a bit out, which means my hips ache at the mo - must book in with my Chiropractor. So last night, despite painkillers & herbal sleep aid I just couldn't get off to sleep for ages (think a couple of hours). Just finally found a comfy position & started to drift off at about 12:30 when Boycat decides it's time to check I'm OK & does mountaineering practice along my legs and hips.

Thoroughly awake at this stage, I go downstairs & sit on the computer for an hour (PC chair is A Good Thing when my pelvis hurts), accompanied by Girlcat squeaking behind me because she wants me to sit all twisted round on the sofa scritching her tummy, which may have exacerbated the pelvis in the first place.

Once I finally feel dozy enough, and the additional painkillers have kicked in fully, I go back to bed. Which of course triggers me having to go through the entire bedtime ritual again. Finally get off again at about 2:30am. Feeling knackered now, but the cats are full of beans charging round the house.
