Come one, come all to the Olli et al. appreciation thread.

Mr C has started wheezing again. Give me strength.

On the upside, might see Nurse Lee tomorrow. Not in my skimpy lace nightie, Spart (good plan tho Grin).

Happy Birthday Darling Matt! May he have a furtastic furbulous fulfilling year - full of Mc Nuggets. DD is clearly a darling.

Papergirl1968 · 25/04/2019 21:28

Dd has just presented him with a 5 made out of Dreamies Grin

Papergirl1968 · 25/04/2019 21:29

Oops, forgot pic!

That's so cute! Grin
Ollie sends a happy birthday. He's banned from outside after playing "i go in, an I go out. An I go in... and I go out"
This is because it's raining, and he likes me to towel dry him Hmm

Supersimpkin · 26/04/2019 07:26

Sweets for the sweet.

YesQueen · 26/04/2019 12:48

An where is my lightly warmed towel? I am wet and this is unacceptable Hmm

I think Ollie's theme song should be a version of Chumbawumba's "I get knocked down".

Chorus:
I get quite wet, and I come in again, get my hooman to rub me down!

YesQueen · 26/04/2019 14:22

@TheLongRider GrinGrin ALL morning he's played that game. I shut the window and he went off to his igloo in a strop

YetAnotherSpartacus · 26/04/2019 14:39

Happy birthday Matt!

YesQueen · 26/04/2019 21:26

O would like to recommend his new food. He has ignored his wet food in preference for "new crunchy YUMS"
Pets at home had it so I thought I would see if he liked it. Resounding yes

Ohh, looks very posh. Apple, cranberry and blueberry!
By the way, Matt would like to thank all his feline friends from the Litter Tray and their slaves for the birthday messages - much appreciated!

Supersimpkin · 27/04/2019 09:43

Matt is more than welcome. Were there to be a commemorative portrait of this auspicious occasion, that would be most acceptable.

That pouch looks the business. Is that a banana slice on the front? On a more pedestrian note, Mr C went beserk for Aldi chicken sticks, 10 for 75p. We've got inner London's only Aldi, tiny, but with all the good stuff eg Jo Malone fakes, gin and nutty chocs. And luxury cat pate. Everything's 2p more expensive than in other Aldis, sparking a furious row on local social media, but it's still insanely cheap.

YesQueen · 27/04/2019 11:07

@Supersimpkin I think it's an Apple slice. I'm not convinced he's actually savouring it given the speed he's inhaling it at. I got shouted at for more this morning Hmm

YesQueen · 28/04/2019 15:09

Some fence building going on today. Ollie has pulled back the blind with his paw, tutted and gone outside to supervise. Apparently they are doing it ALL wrong Hmm

TheLongRider · 28/04/2019 17:38

Has the endangered "Ma bush!" been saved?

YesQueen · 28/04/2019 20:08

Ma bush is indeed in one piece. However O has dropped it in favour of sleeping directly under the swings, sprawled out. There's a lot of "mummmmmm there's a cat asleep" Blush

Supersimpkin · 28/04/2019 20:47

He's training up the next generation of caregivers. Next it will be 'Mummmm the cat says it's hungry'.

Supersimpkin · 28/04/2019 20:51

Mr C's had an entire M&S Best Ever burger. I've got the dirty fries, which I suspect Olli might make a play for if he caught sight - tomato and cheez all over them.

Fluffycloudland77 · 28/04/2019 21:01

Asbo had salmon after scratching, biting and hissing at dh.

It’s been a long week here. On Friday I considered putting him in the cattery for 3 days to give myself a break.

Supersimpkin · 28/04/2019 21:57

We've all been there Fluffy.

The spring weather is responsible for asbo's natural exuberance.

At least DH knows his place.

After cleaning up 8 sick piles on Thursday, followed by breaking a set of glasses over my own head when Mr C rammed the back of my knees as I was reaching them down, I shouted so loud the builders opposite blushed.

I bawled out of the window so Mr C didn't feel upset. Got the ham in by way of apology just in case. Still getting splinters.

YesQueen · 28/04/2019 22:19

Yep. This innocent creature screamed all last night to the point where I had subtitles on the TV and considering chucking him out at 11.30pm. He woke me at 1am screaming again Hmm

Supersimpkin · 29/04/2019 13:41

Helpless and vulnerable, see.

YesQueen · 29/04/2019 14:07

Oh yes. He looked very helpless as he shoved his paw in my Oreo cake jar GrinWink

YetAnotherSpartacus · 29/04/2019 14:32

It's the one, tiny, remaining fang and the unevenly opened eyes that do it...

Weezol · 29/04/2019 23:19

Fluffy Weezolcat was incredibly violent until about six months ago, now it's just sporadic -sometimes several days go by without blood being drawn. In the last six years I appear to have spent an equal amount of money on both the subjects
