Come one, come all to the Olli et al. appreciation thread.

Mr C has started wheezing again. Give me strength.

On the upside, might see Nurse Lee tomorrow. Not in my skimpy lace nightie, Spart (good plan tho Grin).

We are here. Well, I am. Fred is snoring flat out, ginge has her head stuck in a bowl of food and Ollie is sat on the pavement with NMC number 876 plotting world domination
Strangely Ollie was sat up and NMC was lay down next to him. They both glared at a tabby that had the audacity to walk past

Allergictoironing · 20/04/2019 22:49

Boycat is terrified, and Girlcat disgusted. My (male) best friend came round this evening WHILE BOYCAT WAS STILL STUFFING HIS FACE EATING HIS DINNER.

I mean, he only comes round on average once every 2-3 weeks, loves animals, offers Girlcat treats (boycat runs & hides at the sound of the door opening) and used to have a cat of his own. So Of COURSE he's a ravening monster out to get them, and they must flee upstairs to the safety of Under Hooman's Bed. Girlcat, to be honest, isn't as much scared as annoyed she didn't have my undivided attention while she sits just out of reach and stares at me.

Asbo pissed on the bath panel last night. Literally just binned the second tray due to lack of use. It’s soaked the carpet. If it wasn’t Easter Sunday I’d be out shopping for vinyl today.

He also sprayed the lawnmower yesterday but that’s dhs fault for leaving the garage door open isn’t it?.

Allergictoironing · 21/04/2019 08:36

How is Mr C this morning Lana?

Supersimpkin · 21/04/2019 10:27

Much better thanks! Asked for breakfast! Ate a touch of it! Has got really thin in barely a week.

Boycat is clearly a gentlemen of strong views and discriminating company.

Oh Dear Fluffy, DH has been very naughty. Fancy leaving the bathroom door open as well! I hope he cleared it up. Poor little asbo.

Fluffycloudland77 · 21/04/2019 13:17

I have smacked dh on the nose with a rolled up newspaper to teach him.

No ones given you a new houseplant recently have they?, and it’s toxic to cats?.

Supersimpkin · 21/04/2019 17:30

|No.

Fluffycloudland77 · 21/04/2019 17:48

Damn. I was hoping I was onto something.

Supersimpkin · 21/04/2019 17:54

So was I Grin but it's only frilly geraniums frothing out everywhere. The flat's swabbed like an operating theatre at the mo too. Hey ho. He's on the mend, yaya, had a buttery cracker.

YesQueen · 21/04/2019 19:24

Yay for butter!
Ollie was caught plotting something with NMC. They look almost friendly

It is Spring and a Young Man's fancy turns to Love.

Young Man!

YesQueen · 22/04/2019 13:43

Ollie has been very clever today. He came running in being mouthy as usual so I ignored him. He clambered on my lap and shoved his head in my face, still howling
He had a tiny tiny leaf stuck under his eyelid Hmm which he let me fish out, stopped howling and ran back outside again Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/04/2019 15:18

Ah that’s very clever.

Supersimpkin · 22/04/2019 16:57

Highly impressive and adorable. Proper brainbox, your lad.

DCat · 22/04/2019 18:38

How is Mr C?

YetAnotherSpartacus · 22/04/2019 18:39

Where is Papergirl and Matt? Last I remember dds human kitten was about to be born.

I hope that Ollie has good road sense ...

Glad that Mr C is a bit better.

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/04/2019 18:57

Asbo would’ve scratched his eye till the vet had enough for a spa break, master suite & champagne on arrival.

YesQueen · 22/04/2019 19:44

I was "how on earth...?"
Ollie "just get da LEAF out mama. Don't ask"

Luckily a pair of tweezers did the job

Papergirl1968 · 22/04/2019 20:06

Bless. Ollie is so sweet and clever.
We are here, Spartacus. I've been lurking.
Human kitten is adorable but sadly was taken into foster care at one day old, which just about destroyed us. It looks like dd and baby might be able to go into a mother and baby unit though, fingers crossed. In the meantime we get to see her three times a week.
Matt is being a furry tower of strength and comfort.

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/04/2019 20:25

How is DD? That situation either sends you into tailspin or you do what you have to to get the baby back.

The pain must be unbearable for you all.

Papergirl1968 · 22/04/2019 20:33

I've never seen anyone cry like dd did the first night. She was kind of keening for her baby, to use an old fashioned word.
She was a little reassured after the first contact visit, as she saw baby was being well looked after.
Over the weekend though she and dd2 have been a right handful, which has left me wondering if she can turn things around.

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/04/2019 20:36

She’s very young though, a lot of adults are winging it.

How is a teenager supposed to know what to do?.

Papergirl1968 · 22/04/2019 21:06

I know. She's all over the place emotionally, but is taking it out on me.
I've stressed to her that she can't put a toe wrong if she wants her baby back, but she then vanishes for 11 hours, and I'm in a dilemma as if I report her missing to the police as I normally would, social services would get notified.
So when she comes home we have words and I get called every name under the sun.
Cats are so much easier than kids!

Supersimpkin · 22/04/2019 22:05

They are. Thinking of you and fabulous furry Matt :)

Papergirl1968 · 22/04/2019 22:41

Thanks, Lana.
I've been watching Mr C's health bulletins - glad he seems to be on the mend.
