Come one, come all to the Olli et al. appreciation thread.

Mr C has started wheezing again. Give me strength.

On the upside, might see Nurse Lee tomorrow. Not in my skimpy lace nightie, Spart (good plan tho Grin).

As long they don't tamper with mabush, they should live, says Mr C.

YesQueen · 07/04/2019 12:32

I took a cat killed by a car to the vets last night Sad it had been there all day and nobody had done it so I got a message asking if I was free (I volunteer and take them to the OOH vets)
Got to the vets and he wasn't neutered or chipped, poor lad. Ollie clambered on me and gazed when I got home and then put his paw on my arm

Fluffycloudland77 · 07/04/2019 12:40

Poor cat. Hopefully it was a quick passing.

Papergirl1968 · 07/04/2019 14:15

Ohh, Ollivander, I remember you did similar a few months ago.
Good on you, if must have been very difficult.
(Can I keep calling you Ollivander or would you rather be addressed by your new name?)

YesQueen · 07/04/2019 14:17

Ollivander is fine Grin

Supersimpkin · 07/04/2019 21:38

Well done. Have a good evening with your prince :)

YesQueen · 07/04/2019 21:52

The scabby Prince has stolen some broccoli and HP sauce HmmHmmHmm

Papergirl1968 · 08/04/2019 19:25

Matt acted as midwife in the early hours of the morning when pregnant dd1's waters broke when she was alone as I was at the hospital on an unrelated issue with Dd2.
He stayed with her, bless him, and cuddled up against her when she was able to lie down. And even licked up some of the water from off the floor (gross).
No baby yet. We've been to hospital twice and been sent home, but dd is making mooing noises during contractions which causes Matt to look at her in some consternation.

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/04/2019 19:43

Is there no end to Matts talents? Poor girl must have been scared going through that alone.

YesQueen · 08/04/2019 19:58

Clever Matt! Just explained babies to Ollie and he sends a concerned face

Darling Matt, darling DD - hope it all goes really well. Little DGC will be well pleased to see Matt as the first thing ever the beautiful world offers.

Matt will be a very fine doula. Mind you, he is probably wondering why DD has not wedged herself behind the washing machine and started yowling,

You must be knackered - nurse Matt should be bringing you a cup of tea too.

cozietoesie · 08/04/2019 22:00

Broccoli and HP sauce??

YesQueen · 08/04/2019 22:06

@cozietoesie GrinBlush I'm not sure if you're more shocked at that or the scabby description
I had some veg left on my plate and the remnants of HP sauce. He licked all the sauce up vigorously and then swiped some broccoli with his paw and gummed it happily. I had no words

cozietoesie · 08/04/2019 22:10

Neither would I have had. Grin

YesQueen · 08/04/2019 22:14

He seemed happy enough Grin mind you baked beans and potato are still his favourite thing
I mostly sat watching him lick the plate while going HmmConfusedHmmConfused little vampire weirdo

cozietoesie · 13/04/2019 18:17

It looks as if PB is staying, for the moment anyway.

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/04/2019 18:19

What happened?

Supersimpkin · 13/04/2019 20:01

Yay Grin

Mr C has been sick every morning for a week. Loudly. The joys of petcare eh.

YesQueen · 13/04/2019 20:49

PB stamped his paw and demanded a LWT? Grin
Ollie is... no, not a clue

Supersimpkin · 13/04/2019 22:57

I have my own theory as to why PB has failed to move out Grin

Typical snowflake millenial, innit.

Assistance please: Mr C, rather than thumping his tail to acknowledge coos of delight, has taken to shivering it. A bit like a post-pee shake, to be honest, but I don't like to think of my sweet nothings being reacted to quite like that.

cozietoesie · 14/04/2019 01:49

It was the (broken up) Webbox chicken and liver treat sticks. (Dreamies are old hat in this house.) Grin

Supersimpkin · 14/04/2019 08:54

I knew it. PB refused to move out.

YesQueen · 14/04/2019 11:55

"Mummmmmmmmm there's a cat asleep under the swings and we want to go on them"
Me. Oh FFS Oliver
He was flat out snoring in their garden

Supersimpkin · 14/04/2019 14:18

Olli is training them for a fulfilling lifetime of servitude. Well done mate.
