Anything more than a zephyr had Seniorboy in a state of anxiety. (Even zephyrs if he wasn't happy.)

LanaorAna2 · 27/01/2019 20:16

Seniorboy was a gentleman of high standards.

Mr C just dumps himself down on me and pricks his ears up if he wants a soothing pat.

Only about 3 weeks till The Seniorboy Memorial Plantation starts to come out, I reckon. There's one lone snowdrop on Clapham Common at the mo. Far from being a flower born to bloom unseen, and waste its fragrance on the Clapham air, people are queuing up to take selfies with it.

Ollie still limping Sad

LanaorAna2 · 27/01/2019 20:56

Have you got any idea why? Has Mabush fought back?

Fluffycloudland77 · 27/01/2019 21:07

He’s walked poo all over the kitchen. I had to dunk him in a warm paw bath.

He’s not even slightly grateful.

Ollivander84 · 27/01/2019 21:09

Well he was outside chasing a leaf and not limping, I was watching him. Then he went from a standing start to full speed zoom, across the drive and behind a parked car. Came in limping 10 seconds later Confused

I'm guessing pulled/strained something? He's sat with his paws curled under him, and I've firmly prodded every part of his leg and paw and he just blinks at me

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 27/01/2019 21:13

Sounds like it. He might just have strained a muscle, it's cold out to break into a run without a warm up. If it's not swollen or bleeding I wouldn't panic just yet :)

Ollivander84 · 27/01/2019 21:19

Neither of the above. And I'm guessing cats with broken bones don't scream for food and sit with paws tucked under them

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 27/01/2019 21:27

You'd have lost a finger or two if you'd touched a break.

Don't worry, give it the once over in the morning and watch telly in peace :)

He's absolooootly fine in himself, that's for sure.

Ollivander84 · 28/01/2019 01:08

I told him he needed to rest his paw and no mabush tomorrow or it would be VET. He responded by leaping on the sofa, off the sofa, on the bed...
me "do you even care about snack tokens? Because mama has NONE"

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 28/01/2019 11:41

I can well imagine Mama is hunting for snack tokens from behind the sofa, in the pockets etc with the vigour of asbo after a rat.

Blimmin' January eh. Nothing to do with expensive kitties. Grin

Ollivander84 · 28/01/2019 11:44

He took one look at the carpet fitters and vanished outside like a rat up a drainpipe. Still limping but managed a speedy run so can't be too bad
Mamas total spend today for carpet, oven and bath - 585 snack tokens

A girlfriend?

Ollivander84 · 28/01/2019 12:46

Unsure. Ollie is refusing to come in. He placed a paw on the carpet and shot off Hmm

YetAnotherSpartacus · 28/01/2019 13:22

New carpet is stinky and weird. Not surprised.

Weezol · 28/01/2019 13:31

Oh I say, a singing cat?

You may need to make a trail of Dreamies a la Hansel and Gretl to tempt Ollie in. I am hopefully getting some new carpet later this year and am dreading Weezolcat's reaction to it.

Ollivander84 · 28/01/2019 14:05

Update. Found O in a bush at the sheltered accommodation. Fluffy cat is trailing after me and I've been joined by another cat
Ollie is being a weirdo and pretending he's terrified of me HmmConfused while limping away like I've beaten him
Don't think sheltered accommodation appreciated my bellowing of "OI KNOBHEAD"

Weezol · 28/01/2019 14:54

Perhaps draw Ollie's attention to the fact that there are Other Cats taking an interest in His Mama?

Papergirl1968 · 28/01/2019 15:26

Lol, Ollivander, cats certainly do love you!

LanaorAna2 · 28/01/2019 15:36

585 STs? Olli's got to get a job. You got a good deal tho'. Bet it all looks lovely.

Heinz tomato soup for lunch. Delicious. Frazzles as croutons adds that contemporary gourmet touch.

Ollivander84 · 28/01/2019 16:32

385 snack tokens for the carpet. The rest went on the bath panel and broken oven Hmm
Ollie limped home eventually and is reclining on the bed
