I shall try and obtain photographic evidence.

Ollivander84 · 24/01/2019 07:07

Reached a new low by Ollie sneezing in my face first thing this morning. Concerned he might get cold while I'm out, I've filled him a hot water bottle Blush

Now that's performance pet parenting.

Mr C got into bed last night, demanded a full belly cuddle, purred like a pneumatic drill and passed out, waking later to patrol the flat.

At 1am he was noisily sick in the bed. I scraped it off, thinking 'that's where that chicken went to'. And thinking other things too. He's fine this morning.

Blimey. Busy time for all the hoomans.

We are having our first ever soup today. It was slightly delayed by me needing to steady myself on the edge of the sink when I saw how small they were in relation to the price of them.

A special ramekin was hauled out of the Big Scary Corner Cupboard (Weezolcat doesn't trust doors that bend in the middle) in order to serve it appropriately.

It was approached with a degree of caution but seems to be going down okay.

Ollivander84 · 24/01/2019 15:16

I should add I saw the soups in b&m/Poundland recently

Thank you - I have both locally, will investigate - I know the crisps and sweets aisle of both to a forensic level!

LanaorAna2 · 24/01/2019 19:35

Ooh, what valuable info. Our Poundland shut down to universal mourning. We're getting inner London's only Aldi instead.

Suck on that, Notting Hill.

Fluffy is asbo still on a diet.

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/01/2019 20:31

Not so you’d notice.

LanaorAna2 · 24/01/2019 21:10

Did he lose anything?

Ollivander84 · 24/01/2019 21:32

Ollie has been asleep for 4hrs so far. He's woken up to move from the igloo to my lap

Patience, and faith in the system Lana.

LanaorAna2 · 25/01/2019 09:18

Maybe reframe the experience as a knightly challenge for his indomitable warrior spirit. I hope DH is not too badly damaged.

Mr C threw up on the clean sheets then bawled for Dreamies. We are on throw as I ring the vet. Good luck with the steroid jab O.

Ollivander84 · 25/01/2019 17:52

Nearly cat carrier time. I came home to a poo on the floor Confused
Suspect in protest at me forgetting to do his litter tray this morning as it was next to the tray and he was sat pointing his paw at it

Yep, you've been issued with a disciplinary warning. I must say i think I'd rather get a rude email.

Ollivander84 · 25/01/2019 19:55

And home
Vet "we need to weigh him"
Ollie < throws self on table in dramatic faint >
I know how you feel mate, it's January

Vet "he's a bit lean, only gained 0.4kg since his teeth out, let me check his start weight. Ah, when first found he was 2.2kg. Carry on"

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 25/01/2019 20:10

He's put on nearly a pound!!! Get you - congrats.

The dental is clearly a major triumph, smart move girrrrl.

Papergirl1968 · 25/01/2019 23:01

Two visitors to the house today both exclaimed, "What a big cat!"
One even said he looked like Bagpuss. 😿
I don't want him getting a complex about his weight!

LanaorAna2 · 26/01/2019 19:08

The highest praise of all surely Grin

Matt is Magnificent. Glad they noticed.

People look at Mr C and shout JESUS THAT'S A MACHINE, He loves it.

cozietoesie · 26/01/2019 22:31

Why? (I mean, What is he doing ' when they say that?)

Ollivander84 · 27/01/2019 00:24

Couldn't get a clear photo but hopefully you can see the chin on my arm and the paw preventing me moving Grin

The ol' secure hold move :)

Cozie, he's doing 0. He is just a little on the big boned side.

But at the moment he is a pitiful 5kg.

Weezol · 27/01/2019 13:12

Tried to get a photograph of The Nest. Was rewarded by a previously unconscious cat exploding upwards into my face.

We're having some Quiet Time Apart at the moment.

Ollivander84 · 27/01/2019 13:15

I'm refusing to hoover as carpet is being replaced tomorrow. I somehow think Ollie will place one paw on the new one and go "nope, no like"
He's shouting at the wind because he wants to go to mabush but the wind is too... windy Hmm

Someone rang the charity shop to ask for their beaver back.

Raising a weary eyebrow, the manager asked them to describe it while dialling the police on the mobile simultaneously. The lady said 'about 4 inches long, furry and brown.'

We found it. Limoges porcelain 'figure of the forest' collection.
