He's eyeing up the window. Not happening. Cats with limps don't go partying outside Wink

At least you’ve got the winnings to cover it though.

Ollivander84 · 02/02/2019 08:54

@Fluffycloudland77 what's the odds that Ollie uses all of it? GrinHmm
We are off to the VET at 10.30

Winnings? ???

LanaorAna2 · 02/02/2019 09:21

Eh? Reassure us Olli has not taken to life as a professional poker player.

Or at least that asbo is his minder.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 02/02/2019 09:25

Or at least that asbo is his minder Grin

I'd hope that Allergic's Girlcat is the brains behind the outfit though...

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/02/2019 09:30

Ollie is totting up what he can spend at the vets as we speak. Then he will work out which expensive cat foods he can have.

Fillet of elephant with condor egg side dish.

Ollivander84 · 02/02/2019 10:01

Matched betting with a tiny side of gambling

Ollivander84 · 02/02/2019 11:15

Seen by vet who removed wandering tooth
Put him on the floor "Ollie walk for the nice vet"
Ollie bum shuffles to under the sink, curls up in a ball and slams his paw over his eyes HmmBlush
Ligament/muscle strain or possibly early arthritis

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 02/02/2019 11:23

He's done it before - maybe arthritis? :(

Ollivander84 · 02/02/2019 11:32

Maybe. She didn't seem too concerned, as it was only when she really flexed his leg near his body at full flexion that he made a noise. She did say cats in pain don't eat and asked how he was eating GrinBlush
Suggested watch and wait and gabaprentin if no better

Poor Ollie. Has he accepted the new carpet yet?

Weedsnseeds1 · 02/02/2019 11:36

cozie , I'm so sorry to hear you may have to give up PB. It's a very difficult and sad decision. Wishing you both all the best.

Allergictoironing · 02/02/2019 13:41

I'd hope that Allergic's Girlcat is the brains behind the outfit though...

She does seem quite bright, or more like crafty & sneaky sometimes. She's worked out exactly how much to get Boycat to move so she can just fit in the space between him and the giant cushion. This takes her to within chin scratching range of where I sit, and just out of picking up range. I think she got his share of the family brains TBH.

cozietoesie · 02/02/2019 13:48

Thanks, Weeds.

Ollivander84 · 02/02/2019 14:23

O has had a new injection to try and help the overgrooming. Google also says it helps stops queens from calling HmmGrin

Papergirl1968 have your DDs come back to the roost?

Bladdy kidz. Chill out with Matt, they'll be back. It's nippy out.

Papergirl1968 · 02/02/2019 15:59

Yes, they have Lana, but there were concerns over pregnant DD's behaviour anyway, and vanishing for three days means it's now looking doubtful if she'll be able to keep the baby. It's one worry after another. No wonder my blood pressure is sky high...
Matt has been a huge comfort this week and was rewarded with some Blink cat food and "bangers and mas" Blink treats from Tesco yesterday - although I nearly collapsed at the price!

Papergirl1968 · 02/02/2019 15:59

"Bangers and mash" even...

Ollivander84 · 02/02/2019 16:04

@Papergirl1968 O is obsessed with the blink pouches!

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/02/2019 16:23

Oh bollocks Paper you must be heartbroken.

Sometimes I’m glad we stuck with the cat.

LanaorAna2 · 02/02/2019 16:57

Paper that's a tough one. Big sympathies from me and Mr C. Furry vibes coming your way.

If it's any help, I know two people who didn't keep their first babies, basikerly because they weren't done being teens yet. 'Mutual' decision ie a bit of strongarming from the professionals. As grownups they now have large and remarkably successful families and jobs.

On the other side, the mate I have who had her first DS at (just) 15 & then refused to leave him is a marine biologist now, and her DS is also one! I can imagine all too well the stress it's causing you but all I've seen are happy endings.

Better stick with Matt and the Gin in the meantime.

Papergirl1968 · 02/02/2019 19:57

I would raise this baby for her for as long as necessary but it looks like we may not get the chance because both kids are all over the place.
We are currently at hospital for the fourth time since Xmas Eve as dd2 has overdosed. 😿
Thank god for Matt. He is the only thing keeping me sane right now.
I luffs him.

Fluffycloudland77 · 02/02/2019 19:59

I’m so sorry Paper

LanaorAna2 · 02/02/2019 20:49

What a horrible day for you - sending more furry vibes Paper. Do deep breathing, it works. Well, works enough. In through nose for 5, out through mouth for 8. 3 min will sort your BP for tonight. Then eat. That's an order.

Fish and chips nite here - I got exactly 0 cod. Not even the little bit left on the crispy tail. Mr C belching.

I hope you do better.
