I did attempt a photo of Fred on his own but he had his entire face in a bowl of food. Emerged long enough for me to kiss his head, looked confused and then fell asleep

Oh the utter bliss. Ginge has got the DM head tilt off perfectly. She is sensational in every way but you might want to leave her a Guardian to sit on in case she starts voting Leave.

Fred fudgesomely lovely.

I want to Remain with them both.

Ollivander84 · 21/01/2019 17:20

Ollie is trying to tell me something. I'm not entirely sure what but it's involving zoomies and my car keys Confused

Weezol · 21/01/2019 17:26

You need to go to the shop to get an potato, sum cheese an beanz?

LanaorAna2 · 21/01/2019 19:22

Mr C won't touch M&S smoked salmon ultra extra-expensive flakes.

Yep, Five Pills has kicked off. I feel like Fluffy's DH.

Ollivander84 · 21/01/2019 21:24

Weezol Grin possibly. I haven't eaten a jacket potato for days so he could well be whining about that 🤔
Little does he know he's off to the VET on Friday for his steroid jab

OP posts:
LanaorAna2 · 22/01/2019 08:57

Same here. Mr C's wheezing is still full on. Six sets of antibiotics, steroids, you name it. and he creaks like an old door at night. It's not cancer, phew, so it can't be that bad.

All my friends are saying slightly desperately 'can't you insure him for vet's bills' as I larf gaily with just a hint of hysteria. Old street cat with FIV and thyroid disease? Even in his prime he was uninsurable, I say proudly.

His spirit is strong. He's still making a moan about only getting salmon for lunch. On chaise longue now (his), in a sunbeam, waiting for me to serve Dreamies,

YetAnotherSpartacus · 22/01/2019 09:39

Mr C!! Gorgeous boy {{{{{heart}}}}}}

LanaorAna2 · 22/01/2019 11:02

He'll get a big hug from you Spart, sure enough.

I say to him:'Who's my life?' He looks bored. I squeak and do jazz hands: 'You'se my life.' He nods approvingly. The head is lifted to receive a kiss. Grin

Ollivander84 · 22/01/2019 13:45

O is wandering around shouting
Human didn't organise the weather
There is white flakes falling from the sky
Human is disturbing him by having a half day at work
The white flakes are cold and wet (who knew?!)

Lana Have you thought of buying an air purifier? The pollution could affect his chest.

LanaorAna2 · 22/01/2019 14:54

That is a winner of an idea.

The builders opposite won't be helping much either.

Papergirl1968 · 22/01/2019 18:59

My friend's cat has to have an inhaler with a little mask like human asthmatics have...

LanaorAna2 · 22/01/2019 19:45

That is desperately sweet, altho it shouldn't be. Poor little lamb.

I am back on reduced sandwiches as only source of nourishment. Mr C is open about checking what his meal is, then coming over to see what sandwich I am having. He then chooses his menu option.

Tonight I'm throwing caution to the winds and having a baked potato Grin might go with beans and cheese.... bliss.

Ollivander84 · 22/01/2019 19:50

Fat cat suddenly perked up. Jacket potato for me?

There will always be a hot jacket waiting for you both in sunny London.

It's icy out and so far I am too lazy to go out and buy a tattie. How long do oven chips last in the fridge? They smell a bit stale but not terrifying. OK?

LanaorAna2 · 23/01/2019 10:52

I've just awarded myself The Dullster Award for most achingly boring post on MN, 2019. I defy anyone to reply to that without passing out halfway through.

Grin In more hot news, it's freezing and Mr C is On Throw with Hot Soup Sofa Service.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 23/01/2019 12:37

I'm just glad that you and Mr C are still with us after those chips.

Ollivander84 · 23/01/2019 13:02

Ollie has discovered straws "genius mama. Like ribbon but you can THROW them"
He stole the one I was drinking with

Very tiring for a small cat, all this weather. Sympathies sent from sofa.

Looks like a cat with spudnbeansncheese deficit to me. Hopefully the soup will revive the poor wee one.

Haven't seen much of Weezolcat today, just a blur parkouring across the corner of the bed in order to drag clean washing off the pile and wedge it and herself between the foot of the bed and the radiator. Nesting type o thing going on.

It is not snowing here yet - I will be told when it is and then berated for allowing it to happen.

Papergirl1968 · 23/01/2019 19:45

Matt does not approve of the weather. He had a quick wee first thing and has gone to the door several times since, only to back away in horror when he realises how cold it is.
He has just reluctantly ventured out again.
He does have a litter tray so it's not like going out is the only option!

LanaorAna2 · 23/01/2019 19:46

He's really into his soup of the day - can eat 6.

I feel like Julie Walters, wobbling back and forth.

Nice construction skills, Weezolcat. Lovely new recliner in moments.
