What is everyone's cat up to today?

Today I am 26 weeks pregnant and my cat Freya is communing with the baby. Mainly purring and gentle pawing in response to little kicks. I am hoping they'll be friends! Meanwhile Maisie is looking on disdainfully. She's in the huff because I tipped her out of the pregnancy dungarees, which she had commandeered as her personal nest.

What are your furry overlords all up to?

Sybil has picked a better class of box than normal to sit in today.

Mine's spark out on the bed. It's too hot for him.

I was laughing so hard at thread on AIBU last night, that he got a bit concerned and reached out to calm me down

Ern has been going mad at a package that was a Yeooow catnip toy for Leo (DS's cat). And as OH leaves his nail in the floor for ages

So today there is a massive trail of pigeon feathers across the lawn

Ern was back in bed for 9am

Ern is mostly ignoring his friend who y it a a little wonder up merchant

I've also managed to meet Leo

He doesn't seem to want to be inside this past week, even though it's quite chilly where we live. I had to ambush him the other night, (doesn't like being handled), and bring him for bedtime. I recently saw a beautiful pine marten on the verandah, and didn't want to take any chances

I think Ern got chased up the fence by next doors dog as his hackles were very much up

He did then sit and taunt the dog

A little bit cross with me cos I woke her up with all my clattering.

Ern and Dexter have been playing kiss chase for days, but will share Dreamiest

Was it definitely Ernie & not a sparrowhawk @Oldraver?.

They pluck them live, eat what they can and fly off with the remains.

Well we never saw the incident so not sure. Ern has had his hands on a pigeon and made a similar mess

Also a week or so ago OH came out to a comotion and disturbed a kestrel/something like that, that was in the clematis.

We found the bird he dropped a while after

And yes Ive watched a 'killing birdy' on our wall strip a pigeon of feathers

This evening Basil is showing off his musical prowess.

My ear was licked

Mama has re arranged the pond. So I now have two plants to eat

Luckily he didn't spot the four frogs we have

Protecting the flowers I’ve just bought myself

Ernie is having an extended stay at the vets

He's been poorly most of yesterday and got him to the vet this morning who says his bladder is blocked

Oh that must be so painful. Is he insured?.

Yes luckily, the vet put his hands together and said thank you when u said it was Petplan

He's being catheterised and washed out and also bloods to see if any toxins have done any damage.

He's going to be in for a few days

Well he 'emptied his bladder like a fountain' in the vet while under sedation

He must have been in so much pain. When can you visit?
