Yes, you can tell NMC moonlights as a tangoing, tapping, soft-shuffle champ on Strictly Come Catting.

O It's clear to everyone that NMC is the Michael Flatley of cats. We're all experts here. Are you going to fly in the face of specialist advice? Risky, I say.

Your choice of course - no pressure. GrinGrinGrin

Disclaimer: I am quite stupid and not an expert.

C massive cheer from here for yet another day of deep comms with Newboy! How goes the nutrition game generally?

OP posts:
Ollivander84 · 09/10/2017 21:34

Newboy I imagine will be demanding that Christmas Lick stuff Grin

Weedsnseeds1 · 09/10/2017 21:37

Cats can go downhill very quickly, you know ollivander.
Fit and healthy looking today maybe, but the winter's setting in....

cozietoesie · 09/10/2017 21:37

He eats like a horse - if he likes the vittles. Grin

Ollivander84 · 09/10/2017 21:39

Last time I listened to you lot...
A) I ended up with a resident Birman
B) and a snotty nosed neurotic clingy black cat
C) bought lick e lix and nearly lost a limb to stable cat

cozietoesie · 09/10/2017 21:39

In fact, he’s just come into the room complaining about the lack of treats. Grin

cozietoesie · 09/10/2017 21:40

Well she liked it didn’t she? Smile

Ollivander84 · 09/10/2017 21:41

Tut. Are you not offering treats every second? Bad owner Grin

cozietoesie · 09/10/2017 21:43

I fear not. He’d likely eat the lot. Grin

Ollivander84 · 09/10/2017 21:52

I don't even have any treats in the house Blush apart from a lone pack of dreamies which Ollie won't eat anyway

Lanaorana2 · 09/10/2017 21:57

Don't worry, Paws prob doesn't like treats. Such a humble little cat, so timidly looking for a warm, loving home...

I'll pop an extra pack of Lik-e-lix on my Xmas list just in case, however.

Cold tonight, isn't it?

OP posts:
Weedsnseeds1 · 09/10/2017 22:05

Poor little NMC would be pathetically grateful for a Dreamie or two. Probably happy just to lick the bag.
Just to know a moment of kindness in its affection starved life.
I agree Lana. It is cold, I think there might be a frost tonight, maybe even snow.

cozietoesie · 09/10/2017 22:12

Probably happy just to see the bag...............Grin

Ollivander84 · 09/10/2017 22:51

Snow Grin
You're pushing it a teeny bit. Paws is probably tucked up on owners bed

Weedsnseeds1 · 09/10/2017 23:07

Or a flower bed Sad

RubbishMantra · 09/10/2017 23:19

How much do you think The Calender will make, O Lana? Enough for a new boiler? I've been sitting, just sitting like a statue since I got the quote. FOUR AND A HALF GRAND!! Plus VAT.

Lanaorana2 · 09/10/2017 23:43

Yikes M that's a horror. Feel for you bigtime. It goes without saying everything expensive always goes before Xmas/when one is temporarily cashflow-limited. Tsk - life on a stick, that is.

Er, the Calendar. How to make a small fortune in publishing? Start with a large one. I'm not entirely convinced our first collab in print will make 4k. 40p is ambitious, was planning to do it at less than cost. But look, there's bound to be something that will sort this out.

Shop around, it can only get better. Start with second opinion. Then maybe get some more quotes - soul-destroying but not when you think of the crispy pile of notes you will save.

What about a second hand boiler? Bugger the VAT, get someone who doesn't need to charge it.

RubbishMantra · 10/10/2017 00:29

Was just having a giant wailing strop LanaBanana really. Know he's massively overpriced, just means more effin quotes. To quote cozie, it's sent me LALDY! Grin

cozietoesie · 10/10/2017 00:32

That’s daft money - unless you’re replacing more than just the boiler. Sorry, but I reckon it’s the quotes. Lots of luck.

Lanaorana2 · 10/10/2017 00:55

Strop away - I'd be boilin' with temper (see what i just did). :)

OP posts:
Allergictoironing · 10/10/2017 08:06

Last time I BOUGHT a boiler it was significantly less than that. In fact about 10 years ago I had a whole house centrally heated from scratch for a fair bit less than that. Inflation & all that I know, but I think a new boiler these days costs under a grand!

Lanaorana2 · 10/10/2017 08:57

Mr C asked me to illustrate O a couple of normal paw sizes so she can see Paws is a model of daintiness.

Dainty 😂😂😂 waved its paw around and nearly took out the entire windowsill. At least Ollie is delicate Grin
