It's nice when they have friends, MCat used to have a Bengal that would stick his head through the window and bellow for him to come out. Izzle flirted like a flibberty-gibbert with him.

Remember that any interloper would have to match up to Ollie and Stablecat. Bearing in mind that these are both exceptional cats (in very different ways). I can't blame Ollivander for not being particularly enamoured by an ORDINARY kitty!

The fact that Ollie hasn't attempted to kill NMC is a good sign. Mine would have gone into full Cujo mode if another cat made a move in his territory!

The obvious cure for the clumsiness would be getting used to the place more. You know, finding one's way around, jumping up and down on the worktops and stuff when you're out, that kind of thing :)

Number one rule in the house is no cats on the worktop

NMC sounds rather endearing to me. Anyway, if Ollie's invited it to stay, do you really get a day in the matter?

I really think that you malign poor NMC/Paws. That photo looked like a very high stepping cat with pretty precise paw placement.

The knocking things over is probably just attention seeking.
Poor NMC is starved of attention.
As well as just starved.
And cold.
And lonely....
