I seem to have acquired a cat

I didn't like cats but then I turned into some kind of cat whisperer with my neighbours cats trailing after me and feral cats jumping in my lap
I have gone to the dark side and reserved a cat from cats protection
He's black and has FIV as well as being a flu carrier so he will be indoor cat. Obviously no sane person was going to take him. So yes, I'm off to buy half of the pet shop

He's sneezing a bit but I knew he would when I took him, and he will probably be on antibiotics every 3 months (flu carrier). He's not unwell or distressed by it
If I chat to him he makes a little trilling noise at me

Yep, tray was used a few hours after he arrived. He slept most of the night on my bed but was on the sofa this morning. He's chatting away to me!

Awww He is gorgeous, I love black cats. I also adopted a rescue boy who has calici-virus and gingivitis. The most loving soul ever :)

(By the way, Seniorboy has residual cat flu but was broadly fine with it until his immune system started to head down the tube at about 18. I would guess that a decent diet and good times could help your lad's immune system enormously. Fingers crossed, anyway.)
