Went out last night for 2 hours, before I went I fed the kittens and shut them in the living room.

I came home and looked for them, they're nowhere.

The living room door was still shut, but they were nowhere to be seen!

In my living room is a corner sofa. One chair, a TV and 2 Toy boxes and a fireplace. They aren't in any of them!!!

They are 4 orphaned/ dumped 6 week old kittens! How on earth have they vanished???? Where are they???

I've sat in there in the quiet and listened. No scratching. Now I've put food down and shut the door again hoping they'll eat then I'll know they're alive Sad but where on earth could they be!

Got two of the fuckers. One bit me and made that much noise that I doubt I'll be seeing the other two for a while. Got the little boy and the full tabby. Now waiting for the others to appear

Oh dear!

VivaLeBeaver · 27/09/2014 15:19

You need to rig up a trap like in Born Free.

A box with cat food in. A stick propping the door open with a long bit of string. Cat goes in you pull the string.

I think it took them two weeks to catch all the lion cubs.

What a relief! Grin Cheeky, little wotsits. I bet you're glad you've got them though.

BlueBrightBlue · 27/09/2014 15:23

Phew, little terrors, crafty kitties.

Oakmaiden · 27/09/2014 15:24

I am so glad you have found where they are, even if they aren't exactly accessible at the moment!

Hurr1cane · 27/09/2014 15:25

I'm having a pot noodle and a rum while I wait and I don't even feel guilty.

Little buggers!! So glad they are safe.

wantacatplease · 27/09/2014 15:25

I was secretly worried you had a psycho neighbour what was envious of you rearing the kits or something and jimmied a window open.

I have a wild imagination sometimes. Hmm

Or worse, that they got outside somehow.

wantacatplease · 27/09/2014 15:27

Why did I put 'what'?? Confused

A neighbour WHO was envious, I meant.

Vitalstatistix · 27/09/2014 15:27

oh phew. I am glad they are ok.

Looks like the fireplace is their new bedroom. Grin

BlueBrightBlue · 27/09/2014 15:27

I'd forgotten 'till just now; my Dad looked after my cat years ago and it got into the wall cavity via the old flue. Came out eventually, it wasn't a small cat either ,but a big boned ginger tom.

financialwizard · 27/09/2014 15:28

What a relief. Kittens really are naughty minxes sometimes.

BlueBrightBlue · 27/09/2014 15:29

Pot noodle and rum? Strange combination.

Hurr1cane · 27/09/2014 15:30

They're going to their new homes ASAP now I think. Just need to find one for the boy.

I've lost my only nights sleep a week.

In so glad they're safe though

Haha well I'm hungry and I need a drink. DP left his rum here so I'm having some Smile

wantacatplease · 27/09/2014 15:36

To be honest they sound ready! They're all eating and drinking ok, obviously healthy enough to explore, and you need a break!

Castlemilk · 27/09/2014 15:36

Ah so glad you found them OP!!!!

Grin Little shits indeed!

GoingGoingGoth · 27/09/2014 15:38

Think you deserve the rum, so pleased you found them.

Hurr1cane · 27/09/2014 15:39

I think they need more human attention than I can give them now to start trusting again Smile
