Locally we have an Airdale called Eric and a Pug called Dennis. Have also met Pugs called Shakira and Beyonce.

I rescued a dog already called Linda. It's also my mum's name and mum used to call her Lynsey. Dog didn't mind, she had no clue what her name was anyway.

I remember a young girl calling out to her dog Pasta .. her dad was walking a bit behind and caught our exchanged looks of surprise .. " that's what you get when you let your kids name your pets" he mumbled as he trudged on

I once met a Border Collie called Brian. He was delightful.

My aunt has a dog called Furgal Barky, which is rather hilarious

It's a password scam... obviously!! People use their pets names as passwords. You're giving enough info out for scammers. It's so obvious!!

Pig-short for princess (old owners called her this but the new owners refused to yell ‘princess’ over a field)

DD named our dog and she is called Pandora, which always seems faintly silly. We mainly call her Dora though. She's named after the Adrian Mole character rather than the bracelets.

Just remembered another that always made me chuckle - a schoolfriend's Great Dane was called Hamlet
