We haven't needed a cat litter tray for a while, but we now have one. I was getting concerned that none of the cats had been for a poo yet. Until I spotted DDog chowing down on a lovely brown nugget of deliciousness, cat shit. I chased her in an attempt to get it back, but she was having none of it. Gone, without a trace.

Won't be accepting doggy kisses for a while

Rolled all over something rotten in the woods. I have/had no idea what it was and he wanted a cuddle after the roll. I ran, he chased, he won, I wept. The house, the dog and I smelled like a rotting corpse for 3 days.

I refused to ever let my dog to be allowed to lick faces. She even eats her own shit.

Yes mine loves a little shit nugget treat. The litter trays are now locked in a room that she can't get in.

She also likes to roll in dead things and fox shit.

Many years ago, my dog got into the bin and ate a shitty disposable nappy. Then, finding the soaking gel didn't agree with his tummy, he barfed the lot.

Lovely to come home to.

My Springer once ate the contents of a nappy! and the dog we have now eats rotten fish that he finds on the beach, hence he now has a muzzle

Ours liked to eat out of DDS shitty nappies, we had to get rid of the nappy bin because the disgusting dog would knock it over and rip the nappies to shreds how the fuck the dog managed to open the toilet door to get to the bin is still an unsolved mystery

So adorable, and yet so utterly vile. She doesn't eat her own shit. For that we can be grateful.

My dog grabbed half a frozen Jam Roly Poly that I had just put on the side pre-microwave.....swallowed it whole......vomited it all back up a few hours later (still whole), then re-ate it (managed to keep it down the second time)

Oh yes, I did worry about the nappies, so we've always kept them out of reach. My other DDog is partial to a well-used breast pad though 🤢

My dogs follow my rabbit around and gleefully ear up her poops as she does them...

Unbenowst to me out old dog (who died unfortunately) has swallowed one if those knee high tight socks. I had to pull it out of his arse. It came spying out along with poo nuggets.

I have two labs, so all of the above, unfortuneately......

Gd has a milky way as a treat whenever she comes here. For a few weeks she would wander off with it, chuntering away to herself quite happily, then would have fits of giggles before reappearing, often with hiccups from laughing so much. We just could not figure out what was so funny until I followed her one day. She was ramming half a milky way into her mouth, masticating furiously, then waking up the dog and sticking her tongue out.

Obviously the dog obliged....😷

Haha love it... I sometimes have a fantasy of how much I would love a dog ( cant due to work) and this is curing me of it. Would be great not to have to sweep up after every childs meal.

My mums old dog ate a half frozen chicken, vomitted it up and promptly ate the sick. He was a hairy monster and loved being hoovered and would wait for my brother at the gate at home time.

My beloved Springer Spaniel is truly revolting. Some of his friend include rolling in fox poo, rolling in dead fish, eating poo and eating vomit

My dog jumped into DD's bed as usual...however, he had just been to the toilet and left a huge dog shitty skid mark all down her leg and her clean bed sheets as he got up.

He does many a disgusting thing on a daily basis, and gross sounds emit regularly.

It's a daily competition between DS(3) and the dog to see who can be the most disgusting. Dog has won today.

My dog loves a stick, he was happily running about and spotted a lovely big fat stick, grabbed it and dropped it at my feet to throw for him, then I realised it was a huge turd, I was not as impressed as he was

The terms 'shit-nugget' and 're-eat' are surely only ever used by dog owners 😂 DDogs have both re-eaten sick. If at first you don't succeed...! Sometimes you stand there with the kitchen roll and the spray and sort of hope they'll take a fancy to trying again. Shoot me.

Out for a walk on the beach near where we live, very rural and cows roam freely on the beach, the woods etc.
DLabrador ate half a cow pat, he would have had it all but was called back, on bending down to put his lead on he did the biggest doggy burp in my face.
I can still remember the smell years later.

I may read this thread to my kids next time they beg me for a dog! We couldn't afford one or be around enough to look after one anyway so it would be very unfair on any dog. This thread really finalises the issue for me though

My dog stories get better, along with eating her own shit, she managed to steal one of the dc’s chocolate in their bedroom. She then later shit all over the living room carpet.

Then there was the time she stole two cooked onions from the bin.
What I woke up to the next day can only be described as a shit tsunami.
I nearly threw up myself.

I do love her though.

My sisters dog went for a dip in the cesspit then wandered into the house and did the doggy shake thing.
