Just setting this up before the old one fills up.

For anyone new, this is a cafe where you can come, eat (calorie free) drink and be merry.

There are kittenbees in the café, which are kittens the size of bees, they are friendly but do nibble the pastries.

Outside are their larger 'cousins' the Bumblecats, they are not as friendly.

Leo is a Lemur who now runs the outdoor dog wash.

Florence is a French pastry chef, Fernando is a cocktail waiter.

Outside is a water feature and a petting zoo.

Anything with mushrooms for me please!!! 🍄‍🟫🍄‍🟫🍄‍🟫
I think today might also be a "2 coffee day" - normally I only have 1 or I go a bit crazy!

Well it looks like I am back in to the early starts.

I don't think we have ever visited Taiwan so lets try some traditional breakfast food.

Twisted cruller that can be dipped in soy milk, baked wheat cakes that Leo is insisting contain eggs.

Florence is making leek pie, but being Taiwanese it is a fried pastry she's making date and walnut cakes as well, Fernando is making soy milk cocktails.

Florence's date & walnut cakes sound just the thing to have with a coffee in the morning sun. It's still chilly outside so I'll bring some blankets out.
I didn't sleep well at all so this will be a nice positive start to the day (as long as the bumble cats don't go for my date and walnut cakes! I wonder if an umbrella might help?!)

Oh also meant to say @sashh yesterday's mushroom soufflé was delicious, thankyou!

Well insomnia has its advantages, I managed to watch the superbowl.

And while I'm still in the mood I'm making US style pancakes with blueberries, Florence is making waffles and Fernando is making orange juice based cocktails.

Leo, well lets just say he has a frying pan, a pan of boiling water and a fair few ramakins so eggs must be on the menu.

Well I had a look around this morning and decided we should have a Korean breakfast so rice rolls and kimchee.

Leo is delighted that Korean porridge features and egg yolk so he is on porridge duty. There are also grilled fish and spicy dips.

Florence is making back up croissants in case you don't fancy the Korean offerings and Fernando is making coffee.

Rice rolls sound good but I am not sure about kitchen at this time of the morning.

Tiptoeing in quietly to sit by the fire and watch the kitten bees.

Never been in this cafe before.... looks cosy and comfortable though. Looks pretty quiet this morning though...

I have asked Florence to make some crumpets and pikeletts, and I will put out jam's marmalade, Nutella and ( whispers ) marmite.
Please make sure you put the lids back on the jars or the kitten bees will help themselves and get all sticky.
Leo is standing by his egg station so you can have them cooked anyway you like.
