Just setting this up before the old one fills up.

For anyone new, this is a cafe where you can come, eat (calorie free) drink and be merry.

There are kittenbees in the café, which are kittens the size of bees, they are friendly but do nibble the pastries.

Outside are their larger 'cousins' the Bumblecats, they are not as friendly.

Leo is a Lemur who now runs the outdoor dog wash.

Florence is a French pastry chef, Fernando is a cocktail waiter.

Outside is a water feature and a petting zoo.

They were really good @sashh they were local known as bin lids due to the size of them , if we got beans , tomatoes or poached eggs they were incredibly messy so we'd get a couple of Day Olds ( slightly dry barm cakes or sliced bread ) to mop up all the juice/ yoke.
I miss them days .
Please can I have a full English breakfast one with beans and a bib !

I think a bloody Mary would work well with them.

The bumble cats look really cute especially the one with the bobbles on top of the hats.

I have had a couple of bad nights sleep which is unusual for me but I think it's more down to lack of exercise. I am stuck in one room all day at the moment.

Full English? Not a problem I'll add in potato cakes, lava bread, square sausage and Yorkshire puddings with syrup.

Leo will obviously be cooking the eggs so order boiled, poached, fried, coddled and convent.

That's was all very nice and brought back some good memories, thank you @sashh .

I have a later start tomorrow so a light breakfast of toast and a pack up would be much appreciated.

A light breakfast lets do toast with beans, or cheese, or eggs, or just butter.

Florence is baking brioche stuffed with spinach to go in your pack up, I'll add in some ham and cheese. Fernando is asking hot chocolate with a variety of shots.

Well it is a bit of a late start today so toast all round. Florence is making butterfly cakes and Fernando is making whisky with hot water.

Florence is making cheese scones, perfect for a pack up and Fernando is making a a raspberry cocktail.

My. 2 year old has a stuffy nose so here I am trying to get him back to sleep, and stay asleep, thinking how nice a hot chocolate and cinnamon patty type thing would be. Something about being up in the night makes me starving hungry...

I'll make a pack up for later so you don't have to think about lunch if you are tired. How does a tiffin tin sound? Chicken curry, rice, chapatti and a little bit of chutney.

@StripyMug check out the Bumblecats, they are outside, bigger, about the size of an egg, they are the bigger and tougher cousins.

Leo is a Lemur, stolen by Tilly (RIP) from a country park. He has three loves in his life, washing things, goats and cooking eggs.

Florence is the French pasty chef, she is married to Fernando the cocktail waiter but we think it is just about Fernando getting a passport because no one knows where he comes from.

Take a seat outside, there are heaters but the pool becomes an ice rink in winter the Bumblecats have invented a version of curling where they hurl themselves across the ice.

Now the important part, breakfast.

Leo has decided to make soufflé omelettes so pick your fillings. Florence is making sourdough and Fernando is making some spiced rum / hot chocolate concoction.

Leo specialises in dog and goat washing but If you need anything washing just leave it by the dog washing stand ( don't leave anything you don't want washing near there , it will get washed ! )

@sashh , please can you ask Leo to make me a mushroom and cheese omelette, and a pack up that can be kept at room temp for several hours and eaten cold.

Thankyou for the lovely welcome! I definitely will stay awhile - I had a tough day at work so will just hunker down and snooze for now, I think!

If you scroll back through this thread you will see that @sashh is wonderful at getting us food from all round the globe so let her know if there is something you fancy.

Yes new comers, Leo will wash anything, I'm not sure the kittenbees have recovered yet.

As it is still cold lets have an Antarctic breakfast. There is no traditional food as there is no permeant population but various explorers have developed unique foods.

Sledge biscuits, Pemmican (a sort of meatloaf), penguin eggs (Leo is so happy I dare not tell him it is illegal to collect and cook them now), bannocks and butter / jam / preserves to go on the biscuits.

Florence is baking crispy bread rolls and Fernando is making a concoction with vodka and diddle dee he has imported from the Falkland Islands.

It is quiet in here. I'm going to take a seat by the fire and help Leo with his knitting.

Florence is making Danish pastries and Fernando is making chai with a bit of a kick.

Ooh, I'll have a Danish pastry if there's one going! I'll take a blanket outside and enjoy the sunrise with a coffee and the delicious pastry.

Thanks, @ScottBakula, we're working our way from worst case scenario backwards to see what the issue is. (Thankfully worst case scenario has been ruled out).
