Just setting this up before the old one fills up.

For anyone new, this is a cafe where you can come, eat (calorie free) drink and be merry.

There are kittenbees in the café, which are kittens the size of bees, they are friendly but do nibble the pastries.

Outside are their larger 'cousins' the Bumblecats, they are not as friendly.

Leo is a Lemur who now runs the outdoor dog wash.

Florence is a French pastry chef, Fernando is a cocktail waiter.

Outside is a water feature and a petting zoo.

I think we need some sweet foods today. In a sort of reference to a different thread Florence is making apple crumble.

I'll make a batch of pancakes, some French toast and cinnamon rolls.

Fernando is making alcoholic hot chocolate.

Well as I made smoked salmon terrine IRL yesterday I'm just making bagels with smoked salmon and cream cheese.

Florence is making lemon cakes and Fernando is making lemon sours

Smoked salmon sounds good to me.
I have just been called into work to clean up after a burst pipe ( water is a HUGE disaster at work ) so it's going to becalong nigh.
Sat waiting for a cab atm min @sashh can you rustle up something I can snack on cold ( no electricity) through the night.

@ScottBakula How about a selection of tapas? I'll stick a flask of hot coffee with it.

I actually like the idea of tapas for breakfast.

So chorizo cooked in red wine, ham croquettes, olives of course, bread with serrano ham and an olive on a cocktail stick, mini pork meatballs, mini peppers stuffed with cheese.

Florence is making churros and Fernando is pouring the beer.

Sorry @PoopingAllTheWay I'll get Florence on to the biscuits.

I'm going to regret this but Leo wants to try cooking. I think I will start him with omelettes so just ask for the type you want.

Florence is making chocolate cake and Fernando is making orange cocktails.

Cheese and mushroom omelette sounds good and chocolate cake to finish.

I got a call from work this morning at 6.30 , someone has called in sick so can I go in ( this is part of my job ) so I said yes as soon as my HA has been to do the gas check , my boss knew this was happening .
They also want me to continue with the planned work this evening , which was not due to finish until 10pm . yeah sure I can work from 7am till 10.30pm at two different sites 🙄😡. AINT happening !

Ok whinge over , a omelette cooked by Leo ? well he has watched me make them in the past so yeah why not, Cheese and mushroom please Leo.

My longest working day was 6am to 11pm. In a cath lab so in a lead apron.

It's a real ball ache isn't it.

Leo wants to help again so he is trying out poached eggs, Fernando is supervising him so I'm just going to make toast.

@ScottBakula One thing I do not miss is being on call, particularly when 'ER' was on, one of the cardiologists seemed to always call us in on a Thursday, we would joke about him wanting to do 'sexy medicine'.

Well I have just been on the 'treats for food bank' thread so I've got Florence making a selection of bread and crumpets / crackers.

I'm putting out a selection of things to spread on them, jams, marmalade, potted beef, Bovril, salmon paste etc.

The one that shall not be named is in its usual location, if you do go out to get some make sure Leo washes your hands before you come back.

Fernando is making fruit cocktails to go with the spreads.

Please can I have a couple of buttered crumpets with marmalade .
Even I am not keen on the one that won't be named on crumpets, its to hard to spread thinly and I get to much stuck in the holes.
