Just setting this up before the old one fills up.

For anyone new, this is a cafe where you can come, eat (calorie free) drink and be merry.

There are kittenbees in the café, which are kittens the size of bees, they are friendly but do nibble the pastries.

Outside are their larger 'cousins' the Bumblecats, they are not as friendly.

Leo is a Lemur who now runs the outdoor dog wash.

Florence is a French pastry chef, Fernando is a cocktail waiter.

Outside is a water feature and a petting zoo.

I've had another bad night so I'm leaving everything up to F and F and Leo.

So it looks like you are getting cakes, cocktails and goats milk. Enjoy.

I'm not sure what Florence is making but Fernando is making a huge vat of hot chocolate with tia Maria in it.

Hot chocolate with Tia Maria = bliss.

I'll keep that on for today.

Not 100% yet but well enough to put on a cold spread of ham, hard boiled eggs, fruit, bagels and crusty rolls, smoked salmon and cream cheese.

Florence is making French apple tart.

I have been eating lots of pineapple recently and discovered I like it with a tiny bit of black pepper on it.

Pineapple with pepper, that actually sounds good.

It is , give it a go . If you can resist the urge to eat it right away its better left sat at room temp for 15 / 30 mins

I'd recommend the same with strawberries but I think you throw the whole punnet at me 😀

Morning all.

Well there was a terrific storm in the night and I was worried because the cat was outside. Then she wandered in completely dry! She ate the remains of my dinner (cod) and wandered out again.

For a change lets head for Iceland. oatmeal (hafragrautur), Skyr with jam, bread with butter, and cod liver oil on the side (I'll hide it in some orange juice).

Florence is making Sjónvarpskaka and Fernando is making cocktails with Brennivín.

Leo is taking the kittenbees for a fly around the petting zoo, I have made him promise to not wash them.

I feel in the mood for something simple.

Toast with butter and or cheese, beans, marmalade, jam.

Florence is making croissants and Fernando is making vodka cocktails.

The two cats I grew up with were so different in many ways the older grumpy ginger girl and younger friendly black boy .
The girl would always come in bone dry no matter how heavy it had rained the boy was always bedraggled, wet and mucky .
However the boy was much smarter when getting in , we didn't have a cat flap .
Our back door was solid wood at the bottom and lightly frosted glass halfway up.
Girl cat would sit on the doorstep ( out of sight) and not say a peep.
Boy cat would reach up and stick his claws in the putty and pull himself up and peep through the glass so all we could see was his paws , ears and eyes and yowl at the top of his lungs.
Does anyone remember the 'wot no chad' drawing ? That's what boy cat looked like 😆.

Anyway back to brekky, I think since it's quiet sticking to 'on toast ' is a good idea. So there is

I'm taking cheese on toast in to the garden. It's a good job the heating is on.

Well now I have been scolded I shall make amends by offering a breakfast of luxurious items.

Florence is making raspberry pastries, and Fernando is of course pouring the Champagne.

Eggs benedict, fresh fruit salad, scrambled eggs with smoked salmon than caviar on the side, a range of charcuterie, baked figs wrapped in serano ham.

Rather than kippers a smoked herring wrapped in lemon leaves and slowly baked.

For pack up I have ordered the F and M ultimate picnic.
