Morning.

Just setting this up before the old one fills up.

For anyone new, this is a cafe where you can come, eat (calorie free) drink and be merry.

There are kittenbees in the café, which are kittens the size of bees, they are friendly but do nibble the pastries.

Outside are their larger 'cousins' the Bumblecats, they are not as friendly.

Leo is a Lemur who now runs the outdoor dog wash.

Florence is a French pastry chef, Fernando is a cocktail waiter.

Outside is a water feature and a petting zoo.

@sashh
Thank you for the egg mayo butties and fruit.

I always thought olive trees were delicate little things and would curl up and die if you so much as breathed on them to hard .

I hope you gave your gardeners a earful and the boot for been such idiots.
I am no good either plants but even I recognised a veg patch !
What muppets .

sashh · 31/08/2024 02:55

Morning.

@ScottBakula they were sacked for a while but I couldn't keep up with the garden so had to have them back (Housing association) luckily the HA was bought out and bought out again and the latest guys actually seem to know what they are doing.

Right to breakfast. I feel the need for butties. Bacon, Sausage, egg, combinations of them.

Florence is making crumpets and Fernando is making something with caramel.

If you hear any screams, Leo wants to wash the Bumblecats, I've tried to discourage him, but, Leo.

Im feeling a little delicate so i will just have some toast and a glass of water this morning please

Leo - Be a good boy :)

ScottBakula · 31/08/2024 03:42

Ahh , HA, that explains it I got a letter from them a few years back saying the communal area is going to be redecorated on 30th of Feb 🤔. I can understand that kind of mistake .
But I live in a mid terrace house so no communal area at all.

Can I have a bacon and runny egg buttie please and vat of coffee.

I have tried to convince Leo to wash the ducks but he's not having it.

I hope you feel better soon @PoopingAllTheWay .

sashh · 31/08/2024 06:08

Bacon and egg butty, not a problem.

I can totally understand the letter you got. As I said this is the third HA to own the property. They have revolutionised contact by, shock horror, using email.

Morning.

Well it was warm here yesterday and it looks like it might be again here so I think a light and cold breakfast is in order. So let's try a German / Dutch breakfast. Slices of cheese and ham, hard boiled eggs and jam.

Florence is making Crusty rolls for the bread and chess and jam - not on the same roll.

Fernando has a range of Belgian fruit beers.

OP posts:
PoopingAllTheWay · 01/09/2024 06:16

Chess and jam for me please ♟️😂

sashh · 01/09/2024 06:43

Chess and ham it is.

Morning.

I'm in the mood for an Asian breakfast so I think we should head to Cambodia

Bai sa chrouk (char-grilled pork rice)
Kuy teav (noodle soup)
Bobor (rice porridge)
Mi cha (stir-fried noodles)
Mi soup (wonton noodle soup)
Bai cha kneiy (ginger rice)

Florence is making flatbeds and Cambodian doughnuts. Fernando is making sugar cane juice based cocktails.

I have flasks if anyone wants to take soup as a pack up.

OP posts:
ScottBakula · 02/09/2024 07:28

Ooh this is all new to me , can I try the pork and rice and noodle soup for later please.

sashh · 02/09/2024 07:54

@ScottBakula np I'll put it in a flask.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 02/09/2024 07:55

Thank you!
I once had an amazing garlic rice soup for breakfast in Cambodia so I'm imagining it will be like that.

sashh · 03/09/2024 07:59

Morning.

I did post but it has disappeared.

I'm sitting outside with Leo washing my feet.

Florence is making various breads and Fernando is making chocolate based cocktails.

OP posts:
ScottBakula · 03/09/2024 22:57

Ahh the mysterious vanishing thread , I have had that happen too.

Is Leo any good at washing feet ? My feet ache like buggery some days I love the idea of a warm wash .

Can i have some fresh baked bread with butter and thin sliced tomatoes with a bit of black pepper.

PoopingAllTheWay · 04/09/2024 02:09

Its 2am and iv just finished my dinner so nothing for me this evening

Unless there is something sweet on offer 😂

sashh · 04/09/2024 05:00

Morning.

Leo is an expert in washing anything and anyone. @ScottBakula give him a go.

I was up in the night so another simple breakfast today.

Pancakes, proper English ones, not those American ones, proper thin pancakes with the filling of your choice, sweet or savoury.

Florence is making fruit cakes and Fernando is making tea with a dram of whisky.

OP posts:
sashh · 05/09/2024 03:51

Morning.

Not a great night so please give your orders to F and F and let Leo wipe down the tables.

OP posts:
ScottBakula · 05/09/2024 07:36

Sorry you had a bad night @sashh .
I see there is some Pancake batter left so I will make a few of them with sugar and lemon .

I will ask Florence to make the rest into Yorkshire puddings to be filled with whatever everyone fancys.

Igglepigglesgrubbyblanket · 05/09/2024 07:46

Sorry you had a bad night @sashh I'm currently struggling with returning to school getting up times so I've popped in here. Thin pancakes sound lovely @ScottBakula are there any spare?
I'll also have a pot of coffee with a little jug of cream on the side and maybe a lie down till it kicks in .

sashh · 06/09/2024 05:07

Morning.

I'm feeling slightly more human this morning so lets head to Russia.

You can never go wrong with pancakes so lets have some blinis with cottage cheese or caviar with sour cream.

Kasha, Tvorog with berries and of course Russian tea.

Florence is making ponchiki and obviously Fernando is making vodka cocktails.

OP posts:
sashh · 07/09/2024 01:57

Morning.

Russian food doesn't seem too popular, oh well I'll leave it out and take a cup of tea outside.

OP posts:
PoopingAllTheWay · 07/09/2024 02:57

A cup of coffee for me please

sashh · 07/09/2024 06:25

One coffee, milk or cream or black? Do you want sugar?
