Just setting this up before the old one fills up.

For anyone new, this is a cafe where you can come, eat (calorie free) drink and be merry.

There are kittenbees in the café, which are kittens the size of bees, they are friendly but do nibble the pastries.

Outside are their larger 'cousins' the Bumblecats, they are not as friendly.

Leo is a Lemur who now runs the outdoor dog wash.

Florence is a French pastry chef, Fernando is a cocktail waiter.

Outside is a water feature and a petting zoo.

Just checking in and finding the comfy sofa and making sure the >>whispers<< marmite cupboard is fully stocked .

I see all the animals found their way over .
The ducks seem to be laying well so I think I will make some poached eggs does anyone want some ?

I've been harvesting my kumara (sweet potato) and have loads to spare. I'm going to make a huge pan of kumara chips, crispy and fragrant, served with sour cream, black pepper and a sprinkle of finely-chopped parsley. Can I send some over? I'll serve a nice sauv blanc with that...

I like the idea of a French pastry, but preferably not one that's been nibbled, please. I have enough of that with Maisie. She is not a kittenbee. Can you please ensure that Fernando chills the Sauv perfectly?

Well there is lots of birdsong IRL for me this morning.

I thought we could head for the Americas this morning but have a sample of indigenous people's foods. Obviously this varies with location so I'm sticking to the east of north America for three sisters, maize, squash and beans made in to a succotash, with corn bread.

On the side pemmican balls and hopi herbal tea.

I know it will not be everyone's idea of breakfast so Florence is making baguettes and Fernando has orange juice.

I'm leaving the window open so the kittenbees can get a breath of fresh air.

Irl , it's been a tough few days , a elderly relative died after been ill for just 2 weeks , it was her funeral on Tuesday so me and my db went up to it . It was a nice service and a short quiet wake after, which is what the family wanted .
But the whole thing has left me feeling disjointed and unsure of , I don't know what , just unsure .

So for breakfast we are heading to Denmark for øllebrød a porridge of bread and beer. I realise not everyone will want that so there are also open cheese and / or ham sandwiches, obviously coffee and tea.

Florence will make croissants and Fernando has some Danish vodka.

@ScottBakula take a seat in the book corner and I'll bring some breakfast over.

I am a bit late for breakfast but if there is any open ham sandwiches left please can a couple, I had some blood test earlier today and couldn't eat for 10 hrs beforehand.

So as well as the usual there will be the addition of square sausage and lava bread.

Florence is making soda bread and Fernando is making Whisky/whiskey shots.

Leo hasn't had a dog to watch so is wiping down the tables.

A full english will always go down well in the Scott house , please can i have cumberland sausages , bacon , fried mushrooms , hash brown , beans , poached egg and toast . with a coffee .
That should set me up for the day !

If Leo is done with cleaning the tables can I borrow him , I have been going to jet wash my back yard for weeks but haven't got round to it .

@ScottBakula Ned, the scooter's name is Ned. My carer came with me for my first one or two Nedspeditions but I've been out on my own a few times now as I have got more confident.

No records broken Ned's max speed is 4 mph.

I'll send Leo over but I take no responsibility for what he does with a jet wash.

After yesterday's fry up I think cereal and porridge will do with bread rolls made by Florence and Fernando has some rather nice brandy.

It was warmish this morning but very overcast and cooler than the past week so I will put on a heater and snuggle up under a blanket.
