Just setting this up before the old one fills up.

For anyone new, this is a cafe where you can come, eat (calorie free) drink and be merry.

There are kittenbees in the café, which are kittens the size of bees, they are friendly but do nibble the pastries.

Outside are their larger 'cousins' the Bumblecats, they are not as friendly.

Leo is a Lemur who now runs the outdoor dog wash.

Florence is a French pastry chef, Fernando is a cocktail waiter.

Outside is a water feature and a petting zoo.

I think everyone's granddad had a bait tin at some point or other 😃

Beef and horse raddish on sourdough sounds good, not sure about the pear tho. Can I be awkward and have pickled gherkins.

Well I wish I could say I have been inspired by a trip to Spain, but actually it was a trip to Lidl so I'm doing tapas.

Pick some up for breakfast and I'll pack a selection as bait.

Florence is obviously baking some nice crusty bread, Leo is trying to help, not very successfully.

So ibéricoham, basil and cheese on crusty bread, olives, slices of peach and melon wrapped in serrano ham.

Fish croquettes. Cheese croquettes. Chorizo in red wine.

Fernando is serving sangria of course.

Morning. Well I put the tapas in the fridge so I'm going to take Leo for a walk, help yourselves.

It looks like it is going to be a hot day again so I'm making some British picnic food. Florence is making baguettes and Fernando is making gin cocktails.

So quiche, scotch eggs, egg and cress sandwiches, pickled onions, ham sandwiches pate and potato salad.

Well lots of left overs in the fridge, I'll stick the kettle and then swima couple of lengths in the pool.

F and F deserve a day off, but they are taking Leo with him.

@PoopingAllTheWay my cat was a nightmare last night. I normally have my bedroom door open so she comes and goes but last night I had the aircon on so the door needs to be closed.

Leftovers sounds good to me too.
My cat is driving me mad too , he has to be a house cat ( aggressive little sod ) but he has a cage in the back yard that I put him in for a hour or so at a time .
The last few nights he has been yelling to go into his cage . Its driving me nuts.

I am not sure f & f are going to get much r&r with Leo around 😀

Still hot so I'm keeping it simple.Quiche of various types and a range of salads. Florence is making garlic focaccia and Fernando has a range of Champagne, Cava and Prosecco.

Well it might be a little cooler today so I'm going to make bacon butties for breakfast.

For bait Im making courgette and coriander soup, it can be eaten hot or chilled so iddeal for changeable weather.

Florence is making apricot tarts and Fernando is making bucks fizz.

I'm making chicken and mushroom pies today (doing it IRL too) it includes veg so is a meal on its own.

Florence is making lemon drizzle cake and Fernando is making brandy alexander.

Oat Latte, not a problem and I'll give you a large slice of cake. Do watch out for the kittenbees, they like to nibble the edges of cakes / pastries.

Also watch out for Leo, not many people bring their dogs to the dog wash so he keeps washing the goats and I'm sure he's going to try washing a human soon.

I would kill for a decent coffee, in a nice mug with a pastry just sticky enough to have to lick my fingers when I’m finished (but not to be at wash my face stage). A wee table for one so I can read my book would be nice!

I am sure Florence will be able to make you a sticky bun that meets your stickiness requirements . once you have finished it and liked all the best bits off your fingers Leo will come over with a hot damp flannel so you dont get the pages of your book sticky .

That chair over there is very comfy , there is a lamp just behind it if you need a bit more light .
