The trailer has just been released and I can’t wait!

It’s probably my favourite programme atm so it’s a shame it’s ending but I’d rather that than it getting repetitive and dragged out.

Oh, I thought that last week. Its just so good.

franke · 10/04/2023 10:17

I've just watched it. Superb, just superb.

MayIDestroyYou · 10/04/2023 10:36

There simply are not adequate words for today.

It was utterly magnificent.

It is one of the finest written episodes ever.

Seconded.

MayIDestroyYou · 10/04/2023 12:38

Two things:

  1. Bit sorry for anyone trying to dodge media today. Nightmare!

  2. I watched it an hour ago. After all other reactions - why the hell do I find myself rather badly wanting to go home with Tom Wambsgans?

Hels20 · 10/04/2023 13:32

What an amazing episode. Sometimes I have been indifferent about the show - whilst recognising the quality of the acting and the script. But today I felt so moved.
I found myself choking up. Over the Roy kids and Logan! Thought every single actor was brilliant. I thought Sarah Snook was best but then I thought “no Kieren Culkin” and then I thought no “Jeremy Strong”. Superb.

Hels20 · 10/04/2023 13:33

As for your question @MayIDestroyYou - he was Tom in Spooks and also Mr Darcey…

MayIDestroyYou · 10/04/2023 13:42

No, I wasn’t talking about the actor - I meant the character. Grin

(But perhaps best to leave it for now, to avoid inadvertent spoiling.)

AnnieP1 · 10/04/2023 14:11

One of the very best episodes of any series I have watched. Need to go for a lie down now!!

Sorry, we've had to hide this as it contains a spoiler that will ruin it for others.

Netaporter · 10/04/2023 14:42

@SpookyBlackCat we’ve all noticed many things but to avoid spoiling it for anyone I think we keep our counsel until after 10pm when everyone else has had an opportunity to watch…😉

SmartHome · 10/04/2023 15:01

JFC that was close to the bone for me. Superb acting by al concerned. Should win all the awards compared to some of the dross on TV.

PseudoBadger · 10/04/2023 15:54

What an amazing episode.

MarkWithaC · 10/04/2023 15:54

One of my household is thoughtlessly out tonight, so we can't watch it yet. I can't bear it!

Tormundsbeard · 10/04/2023 16:54

I feel emotionally drained.

Shekissedagirlandshelikedit · 10/04/2023 19:10

Amazing episode today. I need a lie down.

JaneFondue · 10/04/2023 19:32

oh Kieran Culkin broke my heart with his wonderful acting this episode.

Rollergirl11 · 10/04/2023 19:54

I spent virtually the entire episode in denial! Anyone else?!

tribpot · 10/04/2023 19:57

We're staying in denial until it's been broadcast on Sky @Rollergirl11 (but yes is the answer)

Rollergirl11 · 10/04/2023 20:00

Yes sure, lips are sealed!

Eyesopenwideawake · 10/04/2023 20:17

I doubt anything will ever top that. Simply stunning.

MrMarkham · 10/04/2023 20:17

One of the best hours of tv I have ever watched, hands down. Only a few episodes of game of thrones have had the same effect on me.

blahblahblahandblahsomemore · 10/04/2023 20:36

That was incredible. So many emotions.

PuppyMonkey · 10/04/2023 20:38

I can’t …

blahblahblahandblahsomemore · 10/04/2023 20:38

JaneFondue · 10/04/2023 19:32

oh Kieran Culkin broke my heart with his wonderful acting this episode.

Ditto. And Logan's driver (can't remember his name).

SlipSlidinAway · 10/04/2023 20:48

Spectacular, breathtaking tv with so many layers of emotion. Simply amazing.
