Anyone excited for the final season of Succession? *Spoiler alert*

The trailer has just been released and I can’t wait!

It’s probably my favourite programme atm so it’s a shame it’s ending but I’d rather that than it getting repetitive and dragged out.

Glad they ranked Gerri so highly, absolutely love her. Would have ranked their mother Caroline much higher - she is a very special brand of acid, and THRILLING to watch

Strange to see Kendall below Shiv in the rankings. And I always thought she was the middle one and Roman was the youngest. But I was wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️ Roman behaves like the bratty third child.

Shiv was crying when she was in the meeting room but she hadn't yet taken the phone call presumably from her doctor. Was she grieving or had she already had bad news about the baby? I know amniocentesis results can come in two stages.

Catching up a day late. Had to really concentrate on that episode! DH and I both had Kendall rapping vibes at the start of his speech, and totally agreed with Roman about cringing so hard. Karl finding his balls was a highlight. I liked the Tom and Shiv stuff, though I’m not sure I understood it all!

Poor Roman at the end there. He’s such a broken soul.

Roman is so desperate for human connection. After the weird semi-hostage situation he was the one asking the siblings if there was a point where they talk about their feelings. This week he was the one asking to hug it out. (Can’t believe I’m armchair psychoanalysing a fictional character but…) It seems like he got the most out of the closeness between the sibs since Logan died but now they’ve reverted to digs and trying to outfox each other which doesn’t suit him at all.

Also realised he’s kind of double-fucked now isn’t he? He wasn’t the “face” of the Living+ launch so gets no kudos for that, but will be jointly responsible as co-CEO when Kendall’s bullshit comes crashing down around them.

Also, because it warrants comment every week, Alex Skarsgard is such a fine, fine looking human being.

Yes Roman was the one who wanted them to start working together at the end of the last season (when he started growing up and the other two didn't). He was by far the most interested in The 100 as well. Now he's gone along with freezing out Shiv, but is far the most likely to realise that Kendall's Living+ forecast is dubious at best and illegal at worst. Greg's willingness to do basically anything is paying off, I wonder if Kendall will decide he doesn't need Roman or vice versa?

He's just great in the role - the character really makes your skin crawl. He doesn't do a lot for me other than that - very gorgeous and everything but there's something a bit toothy about him

You're not the only one! There's a psychologist on YouTube called Dr Ramani, who is a specialist in narcissism, and she records a video every Sunday night after Succession airs in the US with her take on that episode.She says the writers understand narcissism better than she does! I think she finds Roman the best written, most complex character
She's well worth a look

Alex Skarsgard has had his teeth “done” so I understand the toothy comment. Think that just enhances his appeal for me 😆

I don't find Alex Skarsgard attractive at all. Too skinny and ratty looking. I am however finding myself strangely and inexplicably attracted to Kendall 😂

Tom is oddly attractive this series too. He gave me the major Ick in series 1 but I’m mellowing.

Yeah, I get that, though much prefer Jeremy Strong with his grey buzz cut

Tom is played by Matthew McFadyen who is flat out gorgeous 😍

I loved him in Spooks but he plays his role so well in Succession that I went right off him 😁
