Anyone excited for the final season of Succession? *Spoiler alert*

The trailer has just been released and I can’t wait!

It’s probably my favourite programme atm so it’s a shame it’s ending but I’d rather that than it getting repetitive and dragged out.

Yes, Kendall is weirdly hot as well. Tom has definitely become more attractive this season. Maybe as his confidence has increased.

I'm putting in a vote for none of them. I only know Alexander Skarsgård from this and Big Little Lies, so - whilst I'm sure he is a nice person in real life - that is a hard no. Roman - Kendall - Connor - Greg - Tom - no, no, hell no, hell no and hell no.

I think Kendall as well you could think 'ah, dark and brooding, all he needs is the love of a good woman' (even though it would seem he has already had that). Even Connor you could see as a wounded soul (that's certainly how he sees himself). Willa decidedly does not have the rescuer instinct, hence her impressive 'fuck it, what's the worst that could happen' response to his proposal.

Is that Tom as the chameleon, though - being whatever the person he's with needs him to be. It feels like it's only with Greg, a person of lower status and power, does he reveal himself to be a petty, manipulative bully. Greg's star seems inexplicably to be rising, it will be interesting to see the dynamic between the two of them change.

It was definitely Jeremy Strong's episode. And he's definitely hot.

Loved the weird Shiv Tom resurgence and the biting.😆

He really wants to walk it back - he went to Kendall to ask him to smooth it over, but Kendall's drunk on his own power. I suspect when he calms down a bit he will want to reverse it, although if I were Gerri I'd be getting a bit pissed off with being fired by Roman and then un-fired. She knows they're trying to torch the Matsson deal so she might feel it's time for the gloves to come off.

It’s a long time since I had anything to do with the corporate world, and I guess the US is different anyway, but I’d imagine ‘letting Gerri go’ would be a long drawn out process. Unless she’s truly fired in disgrace ‘with immediate effect’, (which would be rich pickings for a retinue of lawyers) wouldn’t there be a period of six months or a year for her to hand over to her successor?

Indeed. I think it's going to be the old guard- Geri, Karl, Frank- against the " young Turks" in the next episode. With Shiv furthering her own brand of chaos because the boys ignore her.

Frank was a looker!

DH has been watching Ugly Betty and Karl pops up in one of the series for a few episodes. I like that (with the exception of Tom) I don’t have any previous associations of the actors with other characters though.

Unless they do … Shock The playwriting impulse is strong amongst the writers - maybe they’ll really, really need to break our TV screens?

I don’t find the Tom and Shiv stuff that interesting, I have to admit. But Tom looked hot in this episode.

Roman is falling apart. I don’t know if he’s going to self-destruct or go postal and do something really terrible to some or all of the others.

I can’t WAIT for the funeral episode. I think it’s going to be a humdinger. Harriet Walter has said that Caroline will be there. <<hugs self happily>>
