Yes, he was! Or at least was taken hostage if you see what I mean. He was off somewhere unstable doing a deal in a hotel and the hotel was overrun by militants of some kind.

Kendall’s hair is bothering me. It’s very black, if Kendall was dying it because he was greying surely he would go somewhere super expensive where it’s very subtle and doesn’t look like he’s dying it? Or as Jeremy Strong is grey so they could have dyed it but kept some grey round the temples instead of this jet black so it looks like he is just starting to grey. I know it’s v minor but usually the succession team have thought of every small detail but to me this doesn’t make sense.

I think even rich men can be funny about dying their hair! Look at Paul McCartney he looked like he'd done his with a box job over the bath!

If Jeremy Strong is obsessive about what underwear Kendall wears, I think he has definitely given consideration to hair dye.

I thought Kendall's hair looked quite natural, but is that because (a) I know nothing about dyed hair or (b) I am watching on a laptop so a relatively small screen? I should put it up on the big screen in the living room to compare. I obvs realise it isn't Jeremy Strong's natural hair colour.

If we assume it's meant to look home-dyed, do we think Kendall didn't want to give his dad any more ammo against him? (Compared to the drug addiction etc??) Or a more general embarrassment about taking part in less masculine forms of appearance-maintenance? You would think, though, that Roman would have taken the piss out of it before now if it was meant to look like a bad dye job.

I really love whatever weird connection it is that Roman and Geri have...I hope that if he keeps quiet about exactly what his dad asked him to do, she will appreciate that and side with him in some way.

I think Roman was shown to have some humanity just to highlight that Kendall was as cold as his dad

I've decided that Kendall and Roman are like wickham and Darcy. One has the appearance of goodness, while the other has the actual goodness (within the context of them both being spoilt and entitled etc) obvs!

An Austen-style version of Succession would be quite a thing to behold! If anyone is going to see Austentatious (well worth it) do suggest it.

Jeremy Strong is very, very involved in everything to do with his character—down to his underpants and socks

They say it's a Swedish brand but don't elaborate beyond that! Björn Borg has his own range but I would strongly doubt Borgpants are luxurious enough for Kendall.

Ok, having been really disappointed by this season, I actually really enjoyed last week's episode. Maybe it had to do with Kerry and Shiv getting shafted and the return of my favourite characters - Stewy and Marcia! Love them both. Also really liked the ending. Hopefully the next episode will be in a similar vein.

Tom's best chance is to stay with Shiv. Is the baby his?

It's unclear @XelaM but I would assume it must be. I'd put off telling him as well if I were Shiv, knowing how smarmy he will be (and how much pressure he will put on her not to go through with the divorce). I wonder if Shiv was thinking about telling Logan during that last awful phone call (and hence why she paused and kept asking 'is he dead?'). That would have been quite a way for Tom to find out ...

I love Stewy too. But then I also found Josh Aaronson ridiculously attractive (if rather cruel to the elderly). I’m confident it’s not just the money … I feel no great lust for Kendall!

I cannot wait to see MM acting out Tom finding out about Shiv's pregnancy - it's literally the ticket he is desperate for, to keep him connected to the family. Plus I think he does actually love Shiv (in a dysfunctional way) and will be genuinely happy at the news and hope it will save their marriage.

Being Succession though, he will probably find out as she is in the process of losing it/terminating.

I'm trying to work out if Shiv would have been pregnant at her mum's wedding in Italy, when Tom betrayed her. And if she was, did she know it yet. The wedding was surely in July/August in Italy (Reddit says June 14th!), and it's now a week before the presidential election, so late October. We know she's less than 20 weeks pregnant, amnio is normally done between about 14/15 and 20 weeks (although obvs being Shiv Roy she can have whatever she likes).
