I want to know at which point the writers stopped caring.
They say they had it all planned at the start. That just can't be true, so much seems just incidental. I loved the finale, up til about the last 10 minutes when Christian showed up, at which point I just thought, 'son of a...'
And the pool of light? Desmond 'struggling' with an obviously polystyrene rock? Pah

The numbers. The writers went on and on about how the whole idea started with Hurley and he was central blah blah blah. And then he really wasn't at all.

What was the light meant to be then? Why did it need protecting? So that people could meet up together once dead?

I'd like to know how Sun was able to be told the sex of her baby and have an amnio when she was clearly (despite the size of the baby on the scan) not very pregnant at all.

Yes, the numbers were lottery numbers that made Hurley rich, I think they were written somewhere on the plane, Desmond had to input them in the bunker for some totslly unknown purpose, oh, and Hurley learned them from some mad guy in the looney bin. But WHYYYY?

Oh and Ben, why did Ben not go with them at the end?

Well I think the rest of them went with their "soulmate". Maybe he was waiting for Rouseau and her daughter.

I think Ben was still in his own purgatory - he didn't feel that he'd atoned enough for his sins yet, so couldn't move on to 'heaven', or whatever it was next.

Where was Michael and Walt at the end?

My biggest question is: why did some of them have 'superpowers'? Hurley could see dead people, Miles could hear their final thoughts, Walt could make things happen with his mind (? I've not seen it since it was first aired!), Desmond could time travel / foretell events... Whyyyyy?

I am still puzzled at the ending - if they were all dead, when did Penny die?

I know its not as important as Eleanor's point on Sawyer (which i agree is key ) but hey my brain is scambled as I only just finished watching it 30 mins ago!

Penny could have died as an old woman, they didn't all die at the same time

No unexplained mysteries need to be answered for me. I like it that the writers have left the less important stuff up to the individual viewer to work out for themselves.

The show was about the characters - and each and every character had their story completely resolved. I am a satisfied customer!

The numbers matched the numbers of the six "candidates" written on the compass/telescope thing in the lighthouse. I've no idea what it all meant though!
