what about when Desmond crashed John Locke by car, then when Ben saw Desmond again & tried 2 call police, Desmond said about John Locke, that he was trying to make him to forget?!
i though Desmond was working 4 make every1 remember not the opposite!?!!!!

Disenchanted3 - Jack COULDNT jurt Locke (Locke was the man in black, Jack was Jacob), BUT once the island started to crumble, and the rock was moved and the light was out, then the island lost its power and was sort of self-destructing, THEN he could hurt him.
Thats why Locke looked shocked when his lip was bleeding - he had been indestructable before this.

Alaa- Desmond actually said he was trying to make him "let go".
I take that as let go and move on to the after life

what was that polar bear in the first ever episode?

I liked the last episode until the last two minutes. I didn't want the sideways flash to be them dead.

The thing I don't understand is that after Juliet died in the bomb she told miles that 'It worked' which is when we started to see the sideways flash. But obviously it didn't work because the sideways flash was people who were all dead.

It was almost a perfect ending for me, them being dead felt like a cop out though.

Didn't the bomb blast send everything back to the present time though?

please does anyone know where i can watch part 2 of the end of lost online- the suspense is killing me

Yes I got that everyone dies but I don't get that Juliet said it worked. She was referring to them trying to prevent the plane from crashing. She said it worked but they did not prevent the plane from crashing at all.

CHocolatestar I loved it and got it all, but you are right I think they took an easier option in the end and the Juilette bit was the bit that didn't stick with me,

I think they prabably couldn't think of a plausable way to re unite them with their present day selves on the island, they were hardly goig to get back on a plane, knowing half of them had died, so it was easier to make sideline something completely different altogether iyswim

chocolate - She was dead, not a prophet, she got it wrong, remember in the sideways flash it did work, the plane didn't crash and she didn't at that point know she was dead.

It still annoyed me and I was disappointed with the last couple of minutes. Juliet couldn't have known it worked in the sideways flash because until she bumped into Sawyer she didn't remember anything.

When Juliet said "it worked" just before died, her consciousness was already in purgatoy. She was having the conversation she and Sawyer had in the FSW, so "it worked" meant the vending machine, she then said something about coffee and going dutch. It was a red herring, to make the viewers think the FSW was an alternate timeline.
