I thought it would be high time to get the TARDIS party going, now we're on a countdown. Has anyone else seen the clip from the first episode yet? Looking like good fun. I might even be persuaded to squee.

Can we not have the 'oh do I want to get married when there's a whole world out there' thing that I predict is just around the corner.

I'm a little undecided on Matt Smith atm and the (dunno what its called) background music theyve associated with him.

Liked Amelia as a little girl though - reminds me of my daydreams when I was little - that the Doctor would take me on adventures. In my dreams I was brave like that

I liked it and liked Matt. Good choice.

DP likes the new assistant though, he has a thing for redheads.

We all loved it - lots of guffaws from the DCs - at all the spitting out, and DS loved him commandeering the fire engine

He was better than I thought he would be, I think they've made a good choice.

I loved it. Matt was perfect (will miss Ten, but then again I miss Tom Baker as well so I'll live with that) I liked Amy, she was feisty. New TARDIS is definitely sexy

I thought it was pretty good as a starter - funny, reasonably well-written and a good "introducer". I thought Matt Smith was ok although there is still something slightly bizarre about his face. Looks like he's wearing a mask. I reckon I'll get used to him though.

To be honest, I thought Karen Gillan was actually a better actor than him but that could just be because the red hair, the scottish accent... I think I'm in love . Except that I suspect I'm (just about) old enough to be her dad.

My DH spent the whiole episode with his eyes practically popping out at Karen Gillan

I'm loving the new look interior of the Tardis!!

I'm going to reserve my judgement on the Doctor for a few more episodes.
