I thought it would be high time to get the TARDIS party going, now we're on a countdown. Has anyone else seen the clip from the first episode yet? Looking like good fun. I might even be persuaded to squee.

Did you notice, on the trailer, with the Dalek - it has a little Union Jack on it - wonder what that's about!

Yes, DH did a bit of pausing of the trailer, and the dalek apparently is wearing a kind of webbing utility belt thing too. Plus in another shot, there's what looks like dalek spaceships being attacked by spitfires!

Ah, a nice comfortable home for the next 12 weeks.

Well, I'm an optimist and a Believer in The Way of The Moffatt, so tick me off as 'excited'.

I had to start inDoctrinating DS2 last night (see what I did there?) with some s.5 trailers. OK, he's probably a bit young at 3.5 but DS1 is no longer quite the keeny he once was and I need to get my Token Child prepared.

To my eye the trailers are looking a bit CBBC but on reflection that's a problem with all Who trailers - I can't believe SM will go too far down the kiddy route. Plus he does have a superb track record in introducing new opponents (Vashta Nerada, anyone?) so I'm hopeful we'll get some genuinely innovative and creepy new situations.

And River Song is back! I'd watch 12 episodes of the Sarah Jane Adventures for her alone .

Did anyone else read the Times interview with Stephen Moffatt? (get it while you can, before the Times starts charging to read it!). Good interview, but I was to read that he once boasted that before he met his second wife, the television producer Sue Virtue, he ?shagged? his way round television studios ?like a mechanical digger? . That's just not how I think of him!

The Doctor is dead, long live the Doctor!
Can't wait for Saturday, am disgracefully excited about indoctrinating my 2yr old now he's able to recognise a TARDIS and Dalek and Cyba-man and Dokta and Aaamie. He's not so sure about the weeping Angels as they don't look like the puppet Angel vampire we have upstairs.

Haven't heard any bad reports back from anyone who's seen the preview screenings and have avoided all spoilers apart from the little bits I've seen filmed/reported.

I hope there are no cybermen - have had enough of them for a few years as well.

The DALEK is from WW2.

I own a balloon shop and plan to inflate a DALEK balloon on saturday just to add to the hype.

My dd is 23 months on tuesday and already loves Doctor Who. I have forced her to be a mini sci-fi geek she loves docca ooo and one of her first words was dardek (very proud geeky mummy )

I quite like 11, I want to do filthy things to 10 but would like to have 11 over on a sunday to cook him a roast and an apple crumble.

lol thecoffeelady. Dalek balloons - I like the sound of those! Did anyone else hear what I assume was the revamped music on the Steve Wright show yesterday? Lots more brass, and a rather annoying high pitched whine in the background .
