I thought it would be high time to get the TARDIS party going, now we're on a countdown. Has anyone else seen the clip from the first episode yet? Looking like good fun. I might even be persuaded to squee.

Marking my place - I cant wait for it to start but will be on a train at the time so have had to Sky+ it, avoid thi thread and try and catch up.

God no I don't want the angels in 3D! They were scary enough in Blink.

They actually look MORE scary now they're going to be old and broken.

I am really looking forward to this. DT too skinny to be hot totty, so not too disappointed by young doctor. So long as we get a hot bod next time.

MS growing on me- in certain lights, I could quite fancy him (if he wasn't so bl@@dy young!) Really looking forward to the new series-booking my place! DH already saying it's not as good as the ole days when he was 8- but he doesn't know anything!

ds is really excited about new Doctor.Am less so as I feel he has big baseball boots to fill really as DT very good.

A bit of new Dr trivia,did you know he used to be a footballer and play for Nottingham Forest prior to beoming an actor,or so my dad the worlds biggest Forest fan informs me..

Like someone else said I was gutted when Christopher Ecclestone was replaced and then I loved DT. So here's hoping. My all time favourite episodes were the Library and the one straight after that whose title escapes me.

Just wish the new Dr wasn't wearing that awful bow tie, its eyecatching and not in a good way. Nevertheless very excited.

I still haven't watched the last two episodes with DT in them on the basis that if I don't watch them, he will still be the Doctor.

I think DT is letting MS have some work experience and will then come back (dreams, and stares at DT calendar mil gave me for Christmas).

Nymph Hmmmmm we do seem to be popping up in the same places quite a lot recently don't we, I'll give you this thread as I've just seen your name at the top. I said MS in certain lights, like low level ones with sparkles in them. He is a bit young though.

Bow ties are always wrong unless you are a surgeon or in evening dress.

Anyway - presumably the fact that there's a human version of Dr no. 10 in an alternate universe with Rose means that they can haul Tennant in if it all goes pear shaped?

Everything I have seen of Matt so far makes him seem very Doctorish. I am optimistic.

Yeah I do think he has the mad doctor side , its just we are all still in lust with DT

They WILL haul him in for an episode or two wont't they? They just won't be able to resist it. Maybe not in the first series though!
