Hi all. I am a huge Damages fan as well. The 3rd series has started in Ireland about 3 weeks ago and I can promise you won't be disapointed!. Although I look forward to what you think.

i've seen eps one and two, i love it. all about the bernie madoff fund collapse, i do think it's going to be better than series 2.

I thought series 2 was really good actually. I was really taken in by the ending.
The 'reveal' that Ellen hadn't shot Patty took me totally by surprise.

And I LOVED the way Patty kicked out her son. I know it's mean but I was laughing me head off.

Compared to the plotting and twists in series 1, series 2 wasn't as good but I still enjoyed it

the plot in 1 was fantastic

2 was ok - kept us gueesing

im hopeing for good things in 3

oh yes, i still enjoyed series 2, tbh anything with the guy who played ray fisk is always going to be well above average.

Will give it a go, but I found series 2 a bit boring tbh. We saw that final scene in snippits about 25 times!

I watched series 2 and it was just so confusing. Sometimes I wonder if the writers know what's going on. I'm not going to bother this time.

Aargh, forgot to watch/record it - does anyone know if it's repeated? I think the last series had repeats on a Sunday night. Can watch it on iplayer but don't really like watching stuff on the laptop.

Good first episode. Glad Ted Danson isn't in it any more. This plot looks a lot more interesting.

Finally caught up with episode 1 yesterday - and I think it's going to be much better than S2....although all of that 6 months forward, 6 months backwards stuff really confused me by the end - I couldn't work out which century I was in!

Quite glad to see the back of Tom, too - he was getting a bit smug. Have much higher hopes of this series than the last. And it's still the sexiest title music/sequence around!

Could anyone give me a quick summary of the end of season 2? I watched it all but realised that although I have great recollection of the scenes that got repeated constantly of Ellen in the hotel room and where Patty was bleeding but I have got absolutely no idea what happened at the end of the series.

Patty's dh was cheating on her and she left him. Tom tried to bribe the undercover mole but was he arrested? What happened with Ellen and the FBI, the corrupt policeman who shot David and Ellen's new lover?

Have started watching series 3 and am enjoying it but am afraid that it is going to descend into flashback/ forward hell and that I am going to get lost again. Probably my fault for going on MN at the same time as watching. I think a programme like Damages requires my full attention
